Characters who are a Little Bit Beastly in Webcomics.

  • In Alice and the Nightmare, the soldiers of Cinnabar Army have lion-like tails and deer ears, underscoring the fact that they were created magically.
  • In Alone in a Crowd the main character, Faith, is revealed to have been born with cat ears.
  • In APT Comic, this is essentially a requirement to be an Author. A few get away with just Unusual Ears though.
  • The Numinous in Bedlam Genesis.
  • In Beyond the End, angels not only have wings but tails and hooves (or other beastly forms). Many demons also have tails.
  • Dragons in City of Trees are largely human in appearance, save for eyes that glow in the dark and patches of brightly colored scales on their bodies.
  • Most of the characters in Cucumber Quest are basically looking like humans with rabbit ears. (The nose forms can vary from rabbit-like to human-like.)
  • In Dubious Company, there is Walter (Bird), Tiren (Cat), and Raque'falicoona (Raccoon) for named characters. Dalmatian, bunny, and bear people have also been shown as background characters in the Elven Royal Court.
  • In El Goonish Shive (who didn't see that coming?), one of Grace's four parents was a squirrel, and her default form is a squirrel-human hybrid (save for the antennae).
    • Then again, her default form is more like a Beast Man with a human-like face. She can morph at will to have only the ears, tails, etc. of a true kemonomimi through a Partial Transformation.
    • Sarah may be getting a watch to transform her into a proper Cat Girl because clothes over fur feels weird when she was in the Cat Girl form.
  • The Phantasmagorians of End Of Infinity all have varying levels of animal traits. Jasz, the protagonist, has droopy puppy ears, a fluffy tail, and sharp teeth and claws, while his pseudo-mentor Silver merely has a set of black wings.
  • In Endstone, the "higher animals" are Little Bit Beastly and interfertile with humans but still referred to as animal species and treated as such by humans; Kyri is a deer, and everyone recognizes her as such from her ears.
  • WiredWolf of Enjuhneer was established as a variant werewolf early on, but she permanently acquired a wolf's ears and tail after her Plot-Relevant Age-Up.
  • Kit from Fey Winds was once a fox and turned human by a crazy witch. At least until it's revealed she was actually transformed by Sylphe when Kit ate her after mistaking her for an egg. It Makes Sense in Context.
  • Kitsunefoxy in Gai-Gin. Nobody seems to notice.
  • In Goodbye to Halos, the Wilders are the most common race and make up most of the characters. They all have animal ears and tails.
  • Heart Core has the Beastman species, a mortal people who lives in the realm of Nifleheim under constant fear of attacks from the demons of Asgard. you can tell them apart from their tails, ears and fangs, depending on the animal that they represent. They posses some strength, speed and lifespan above humans, but wile humans have evolved to a middleground between the present and the future in this setting, the beastment are still stuck in the middle/dark ages.
  • Homestuck: When Jade Harley ascends to the God Tiers after being killed by Courtyard Droll, she merges with Jadesprite, her once-deceased dreamself which was a sprite that had previously been prototyped with Jade's dog Becquerel, and as such was itself already pretty much a furry. As a result, after ascending, Jade gained dog ears while otherwise looking completely normal. She has however taken on several canine quirks, such as hating the cat-borne Jaspersprite. This causes a lot of problems later since the Condesce copied Tarvos' ability to mind control animals.
    • After Aradia prototyped herself but before she entered a robot body, she was briefly a frog girl with little head bumps, webbed hands, and a habit of saying 'ribbit'.
    • Similarly, an alternate timeline version of Dave prototypes himself with the main timeline Dave’s sprite, which was a crow. The resulting “Davesprite” has wings, feathers and a tendency to say “caw” sometimes.
  • This webcomic by Humon features a "huldrekarl", a mythic being who has a fox tail. There are other ways in which this kind of creature is different from humans, but this one seems to lack the nasty temper of others of his kind - he's quite kind to the humans who caught him.
  • Karin-dou 4koma has several animal youkai with have human forms like this. For instance, Shizuki (kitsune) has fox ears/tail, while Catherine (bird/dog hybrid) has dog ears and wings.
  • Marena from Keychain of Creation has a fox ears & tail. This isn't due to her being of a different race from humans, however, but is what is referred to in the world of Exalted as a Tell, due to her being a Lunar Exalted with an fox Spirit Form.
  • In Moxie, the Beastian race is made up with different animals characteristics. While they are a common race in the world, other races will often name call them.
  • My Impossible Soulmate: Among Room P-1's students is Keegan, who has fox ears and a tail.
  • Problem Sleuth: When Problem Sleuth's soul merges with the Weasel King's, he gains little fangs.
  • Kat of Sequential Art who is part cat. Scarlett and her sisters are half squirrel.
  • Strays (2007): Both main characters are werewolves who can also turn into full wolves.
  • The Urrt from the webcomic The Challenges of Zona.
  • The Overture:
    • The Demi are an entire race of this. They generally resembling humans with minor modification to there ears, eyes, and sometimes tails.
    • Sophie has the ears and spines of a porcupine as well as yellow eyes.
  • Downplayed in Wilde Life: Clifford has Supernatural Gold Eyes that hint at his ability to turn into a wolf; fans have also noted that they sometimes reflect the light in a less-than-human fashion. Eliza comments that "wild eyes" are common but not universal among animal people.
  • In The Wolf at Weston Court Wolfmen have tails, fangs, and pointed ears but otherwise human features.
  • This Is the Worst Idea You've Ever Had! has several characters of the "Beastman" race, who are nearly always cute.
  • Sette from Unsounded who has pointy teeth and a "mule's tale," which she insists looks more like a lion's.
  • In Vanadys: Tales Of A Fallen Goddess, wights are basically humanoid with Pointy Ears, Cute Little Fangs, claws and furry tails. Their animalistic traits are fairly generic with little hint as to what kind of animal they are based on — though the claws and fangs do suggest some kind of carnivore.
  • The gard are a race of deermen from Winters In Lavelle.
  • In Yokoka's Quest, demons can range from just having Animal Eyes and Pointy Ears, to being a Little Bit Beastly, to full-on Beast Man.
  • Cat girls Blue and Kate from Yosh!, as well as Fox girl Rieko who is also - through a series of events - made into a Robot Girl. A Wizard Did It. By accident.
