Wolf Pack is a Children's Book by Edo Van Belkom. It's the first in a series of four.

When Forest Ranger Garrett Brock is helping to put out a forest fire, he spies a wolf bringing her cubs out of the woods to safety. After the fourth cub is brought out, the wolf runs back in... but never comes out. After the fire is put out, he looks for the wolf, but fails to find her. Thus, he takes it upon himself to raise the cubs himself until they're old enough to look out for themselves. However, when he and his wife check up on them their first night with them, the cubs have turned into human babies.

Yeah, it turns out they're werewolves.

Well, now the cubs are 15, and dealing with High School. The cubs are Noble (The Leader), Argus (The Big Guy), Tora (The Girl), and Harlan (The Runt). When they aren't at school, they can be seen in wolf form running through the woods, which is a pastime that they all enjoy. However, one day, one of their runs gets noticed by one Dr. Monk, a scientist who sees the opportunity to make a real name for himself by studying the cubs and revealing them to the world. Digging a hole trap, he manages to get Tora. Now the brothers need to find a way to rescue her before she ends up in a zoo in Vancouver, and all over the news.

The book was published on October 4th, 2004. A TV adaptation starring Sarah Michelle Gellar premiered on Paramount+ in January 26, 2023.

  • Caught on Tape: Bruno, Dr. Monk's cameraman, managed to get footage of the pack transforming from human to wolf form when they went for a run in the woods.
  • The Great Fire: The book starts with Ranger Brock assisting in trying to put out one in the woods. It's here that he sees the cubs' mother drop them off and never return.
