The Lost Rainforest is a novel series written by Eliot Schrefer.

For as long as anyone can remember the magical rainforest of Caldera has been divided by the veil. On one side are the daywalkers, creatures who walk the rainforest by day, and nightwalkers, creatures who walk the rainforest by night. Any animal caught walking on the wrong side of the veil faces exile, or worse. This is how it has always been until the eclipse. Deep in the heart of Caldera an ancient evil has reawakened and it's only a matter of time before it breaks the bonds of it's magical prison. The fate of Caldera rests with a group of young shadowwalkers, those who can cross the veil, together they must defeat this evil and save their rainforest home before it's too late.
