The Chronicles of Jegra is a series of adult Space Opera / Science Fantasy novels by Tristan Vick.

Abducted by aliens. Made a slave to the Intergalactic Gladiatorial Syndicate. Injected with a serum that gave her She-Hulk like strength. Jessica Hemworth's life just got a whole lot more interesting. Now she's fighting for her life on an alien world where she is reborn as JEGRA, Gladiatrix of the Galaxy!

But gaining fame and glory as champion of the arena was just the beginning. When the ruthless Emperor Rhadamanthus Dakroth falls for Jegra, he seeks to make her his wife. Now, thrust into the role of empress of a galaxy-spanning empire, something she never asked for, Jegra has to navigate a strange new world of alien politics and intrigue. If that wasn't difficult enough, sinister things are brewing as an ancient evil awakens.

So far, eight novels and two novellas have been published.

  • Gladiatrix of the Galaxy (March 2018)
    • Origins of the Gladiatrix: A prequel novella that takes place a year and a half before the first book.
    • Skywend: The Lost Planet: A spin-off novella to the first book.

  • Destroyer of Galaxies (March 2019)

This series contains examples of:

  • Alien Abduction: Jessica was kidnapped from Earth by alien poachers who sold her as a gladiatorial slave.
  • Asshole Victim: Donald Bloom, Jessica's boss from Earth who also got abducted with her. He's a Mean Boss who tried sexually extorting Jessica in exchange for keeping her job and was in the middle of molesting her when they were abducted. When he gets vaporized while trying to escape, Jessica feels zero sympathy for him and only regrets not having gotten the chance to tell him what a scumbag she thought he was.
  • Bizarre Alien Reproduction: Dagons are an intersex species. Both males and female have functional penises and ovaries.
  • Breast Expansion: In addition to her increased height and musculature, the serum also caused Jessica's breasts to balloon from a C-cup to a J-cup.
  • Chainmail Bikini: Jegra dresses in little more than an armored bikini for her gladitorial matches. It's justified because her skin is already Nigh-Invulnerable and her Super-Strength means any armor she wears will inevitably get too banged up to use.
  • Disposable Woman: The first novel introduces Abethca, an ex-gladiator who Jegra takes as a lover after defeating her in the arena. She gets killed by an assassin early on to hurt Jegra, and her death later motivates her sister into seeking a Misplaced Retribution on Jegra.
  • The Emperor: Lord Emperor Rhadamanthus Dakroth is the ruler of the galaxy-spanning Dagon Empire.
  • The Empress: Jegra becomes the empress of the Dagon Empire at the end of the first book.
  • Experienced Protagonist: By the start of the first novel, Jegra has had over a year to adjust to her new body and has since risen to become the uncontested champion of the arena.
  • Extreme Omnisexual: Jegra is a pansexual who has flirted and slept with aliens of varying species regardless of gender.
  • Gladiator Games: The Intergalactic Gladiatorial Syndicate buys alien slaves from poachers and forces them to fight each other in a grand arena for the entertainment of the Dagon Empire's masses.
  • Hulking Out: The serum causes Jessica to go from being a petite woman to a Statuesque Stunner with large muscles and steel abs.
  • The Magnificent:
    • Jegra becomes known as Jegra the Merciless during her time spent as a gladiator.
    • Prior to meeting Jegra, Grendok's gladiator name was Grendok the Undefeated.
    • There's also KaLaar the Magnificent from the prequel novella.
  • Polyamory: Jegra ends up hooking up with three other women.
  • Proud Beauty: Jegra is well aware of how attractive she is post-transformation and is happy to flaunt her assets to the crowds during her gladiator fights.
  • Royal Harem: In addition to Jegra, Emperor Dakroth also has sixteen other wives. Or at least he did until he decided to force them to fight each other to the death for his amusement.
  • Screw Yourself: In the fifth book, Jegra has sex with an older version of herself from the future.
  • Sizeshifter: Grendok has the ability to increase his size to gigantic proportions, growing thirty feet tall in seconds.
  • Super Serum: Right before her first match in the arena, Jessica was injected with a serum that transforms her into an Amazonian Beauty with Super-Strength and Super-Toughness.
  • Super-Toughness: Following her transformation, Jessica is able to walk on shards of broken glass barefoot without cutting her feet and it's mentioned that her breasts can deflect steel tipped arrows.
