Jack Li is a small-time content creator on TubeYou who hosts an internet show titled Unsolved Internet Mysteries. Needing the extra cash to support him and his girlfriend after his rent was increased, Jack stumbles upon the legend of the Snuff Arcade.
The Snuff Arcade is an old video game cabinet that is said to have contained a pixelated snuff film, which was transcribed and inserted into the machine. People on the internet who have tried to do some serious investigating have mysteriously vanished. But like that's going to stop an adventurer like Jack, who believes that once he'll find the truth about the Arcade's location, all of his problems will go up in flames.

- Bland-Name Product: Numerous websites like TubeYou, 3San, and Leddit inhabit this story's version of the internet.
- Deconstructive Parody: Of internet urban legends. Jack's research into the Arcade has people attempting to solve find out about the arcade making up facts, adding needless information to the original story, and multiple attempts at actually claiming to have seen the Arcade despite the machine's side effects, end up clouding the original story altogether.
- Expy: Jack Li is basically one for Justin Whang. Both are Asian Americans who are known on the internet for videos that discuss various stories and events centered around the web.
- Shout-Out: Franco is clearly modeled after Shaggy, which the narration lampshades. His appearance, combined with his red shades, are a reference to Tom Fawkes.
- The Stoner: Franco Jones, Jack's friend, is a clear and obvious pothead.
