Righteous Rage is the second story written by David Reeves on the Wattpad website and is the sequel to The Mystery of the Children of Odin.

After very long and tedious quests, David and his friends are ready for another year at Ebenezer. However, their much-wanted relaxation is not made possible. Ashley is killed at the hands of Gaia’s six clones, all of whom go by one name: Gaea. Eager to avenge his friend, a glint of rage in his eyes, and hungry for more power, David travels to another Realm to train. But while he is gone, the six clones of Gaia suddenly attack Ebenezer, looking for David. Pandemonium spreads and the school falls quickly against Gaea’s might. Beaten, broken and desperate, the students call out for David. Will he arrive in time to save his peers? Or will Gaea burn everything to the ground?

It is a completed series and, as of now, is the shortest one out of the three completed.

Tropes

  • Anyone Can Die: Ultimately subverted as Gaea revives everyone she has killed (excluding Ashley who remains dead.
  • Badass Boast: David delivers a great one in response to Gaea's:
Gaia: The Greeks themselves could not contain us. Your gods could not beat us. We are Prôtogenoi. Feared by even the strongest gods.
David: I am David James Odinson Reeves. You want to know the monster monsters and Prôtogenoi fear, what they have nightmares about? Me.
  • Badass Longcoat: David appears to fight Gaea in this for the first time.
  • Blood Knight: Essentially Gaea and her clones. Later David after transforming.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Delivered to everyone by Gaea and her clones.
  • Freak Out: David after learning about Ashley's death.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: It's not specified exactly how long David was gone, but when he came back, he kicked all kinds of ass.
    • In the third series, it was later revealed he barely survived the training.
  • A God Am I: Being the clones of Gaia herself, Gaea is essentially this.
  • Hero Killer: Since Gaea kills Ashley, Abby, and (almost) Jamie, she is this.
  • I'll Kill You!:
    David: I will kill you.
  • It's Personal: Applies to both Gaea and David. Gaea because she views all gods and their children as the reason why her template is in the current state she is in during the book. David, because, Gaea killed his friend and harmed even more of them.
  • Kick the Dog: Kills Jamie in front of David after she states she loves him.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Oh, you just had to try to kill his girlfriend, didn't you, Gaea?
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Yeah, it really wasn't a smart idea to try to kill David's girlfriend in front of him, Gaea.
  • Prepare to Die: David says a variant of this to Gaea:
David: I'm going to rip your vertebral column out of your arsehole and beat you to death with it.
  • Redemption Equals Death: After being beaten by David, Gaea is impressed enough by him that she decides to revive everyone she has recently killed.
  • You Killed My Father: Well, very close friend, but it might as well have been this.
