Charlie the Sunflower Fairy (formerly published as Charlotte the Sunflower Fairy) is the 46th book in the Rainbow Magic series, and the 4th in the Petal Fairies subseries.

- An Ice Person: Jack Frost uses his ice magic to coat Rachel in ice, making her unable to fly.
- Sudden Name Change: She was initially published with the name Charlotte. Later on, when Princess Charlotte of Cambridge was born, a special one-off book was written in her honour, with a fairy named Charlotte the Baby Princess Fairy. After this, Charlotte the Sunflower Fairy was retroactively renamed Charlie. She is still named Charlotte in US prints.
- True Blue Femininity: While Charlie looks after yellow flowers, she prefers to wear the colour blue.
