So when you visit Disneyland, keep your eyes open wide. Maybe you'll see a wee man in green, smoking a small clay pipe.

Little Man Of Disneyland is a piece of Children's Literature written Annie North Bedford and illustrated by Walt Disney Studios. It's a Short Story about Patrick Begorra; the last of the Little People in Movieland, and how Mickey, Donald and Goofy plan to build Disneyland where he lives. It was first published in 1955 and is part of the Little Golden Books series.

This book provides examples of:

  • Badass Fingersnap: With a snap of Patrick's fingers he destroys the shovel Donald was leaning on.
  • Butt-Monkey: Donald Duck gets his foot stomped on by Patrick to get the attention of Donald, Mickey and Goofy.
  • Leprechaun: Though never referred to as one Patrick is clearly a Leprechaun, wearing green, preforming magic, has a clover on his hat and the illustrations portray him with red hair.
  • Shout-Out: Various Disneyland attractions are mentioned.
    • The most obvious one is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
    • The Wild West stagecoach ride mentioned might be the closed Rainbow Mountain Stagecoach ride.
    • The rocket trip to the moon might be the removed Rocket Jets ride.
    • The magic pirate ship that can fly is probably the Peter Pan's Flight ride.
