Kehma, your special skill is cracking eggs one-handed? WHAT KIND OF SPECIAL SKILL IS THAT!!!!???
Self-proclaimed Goddess of Wisdom Laura Gine Amara gets booted out of Heaven for lazing around too much, causing a major loss of faith in her from her followers. After a great deal of begging, bowing, and scraping, she gets a lottery ticket to summon one champion. When she runs out of food and finds that she has no other prospects, she uses it. The result is Kazota Kehma who by sheer coincidence had put a coin in the donation box to a shrine and wished to go to another world. He is not pleased to find himself at the beck and call of a stupid, lazy, and incompetent goddess who is expecting him to fix her problems. Fortunately for the both of them, once the goddess gets an offering of food from him, she learns that he's got an extremely rare, calamity-inducing skill, Magic Absorption that allows him to get stronger by eating, both by gaining levels and copying the special abilities of any monster he eats.

Manga version written by: Rasahan, kt60

Similar in premise to Isekai Cheat Survival Meshi but with a goddess and an RPG Mechanicsverse.

Level Up Just by Tropes:

  • Balanced Harem: The ladies of Kehma's Unwanted Battle Harem get roughly equal focus.
  • Battle Harem: Kehma and his ladies are all part of an adventuring party.
  • Cassandra Truth: People never believe Laura when she says she's a goddess, and nobody believes her when she and Kehma arrive in town and say they came out of a very dangerous forest.
  • Erotic Dream: Truth in Television. Several scenes show Kehma engaging in some very erotic things with an attractive lady he knows only to wake up part way, in his bed alone, sighing that it was All Just a Dream.
  • Marry Them All: Discussed. In chapter 18 of the manga, the ladies of Kehma's party compete as to who is most worthy to be the Top Wife, Laura using seniority as a metric, Femille using Subordinate Excuse and Accidental Proposal, and Lolona going by Best Her to Bed Her, since she challenged him to a sword fight and he cleaned her clock. After a heated discussion and a heart to heart, they invite him to their shared bedroom and he walks in with them wearing lingere, all saying "marry me" at once. He says yes, but before they get down to the sexy hijinks, the party, especially Kehma himself, realizes that they need their own house first, and can't afford it, so wedding plans are on-hold until they get enough money together to buy one.
  • Pragmatic Adaptation: The manga moves the pace forward at a faster rate by clipping out many things from the original web-novel that could be considered filler, like removing many of Kehma's useless skills, and moves events around to be more "family friendly" like having the three delinquents challenge Kehma to a drinking contest rather than try and mug him in an alley, and removing Asha's own drinking contest with Kehma and replacing it with some heavy flirtation.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: At the start of the story, Kehma and Laura could not stand each other, but they were forced to work together as a matter of survival. Fortunately, they do manage to grow rather fond of each other.
  • Too Desperate to Be Picky: Kehma and Laura wind up stuck together because she summons him at the end of her rope, and he wished to go to another world because his abusive mother had him literally walking on eggshells around her, forcing him to learn to cook for himself if he wanted to eat starting at age 5.
  • Unexplained Recovery: Not Kehma himself, but after a fierce battle, where he suffers Clothing Damage, his school uniform is somehow miraculously fixed, without needle, thread, or tailoring knowledge, and Laura had nothing to do with it. Probably to keep the manga PG.
  • Unwanted Harem: Not that he's complaining, but Kehma finds himself at the lead of a party full of attractive women that he didn't ask for.
