Under the thick foliage of a late summer a cast of quirky teenagers arrives on their new home at college. Among them is Nero Scaevola, a young man who behind his cheerful facade is anxious. Ever since he was a kid, he's been hunted as a fugitive from his home by his usurping uncle. Also arriving on campus is Nero's roommate Harun Rapp, a close friend of Ace and Johnny, who's trying to keep a normal functioning life despite all the strange things happening upon the start of term. An army is on the move, one motivated by revenge and a thirst for power.
But who has time to worry about that when your roommate is completely insufferable and tests to study for?
