Escape from the Island of Aquarius is the second book in Frank Peretti's Cooper Kids Adventure Series, published in 1986. It follows Dr. Jake Cooper and his children Jay and Lila as they venture to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in search of a missionary previously presumed dead.
The book contains examples of:
- Are You Sure You Want to Do That?: What Kelno says to Dr. Cooper when the latter threatens to kill the former, believing him to have caused Lila's death is essentially this.
- Batman Gambit: Kelno may have pulled one when he let the Coopers return to their boat only to break the bridge when two of them are on it.
- Heel–Face Turn: Amos Dulaney, before the events of the story; Kelno's men near the end
- Wham Line: "This island, my brothers, is sinking."
