It's been 20 years since the last anyone's seen of the infamous Springwood Slasher. The killings stopped, specifically of teenagers around Springwood, Ohio. Things went back to normal, nobody made any mention of what happened year after year, incident after incident. Nobody bothered to inform people of the infamous Fred Krueger, simply because the less people knew, the more people forgot.
Eventually, it begins again. People begin dying with no explanation, people who have no idea who the burned man in the red and green sweater is. People who are connected in more ways than one, ways they'll find out soon enough.
But the real question is, will they succeed in ridding Springwood, Ohio of this monster once and for all? Or will Freddy Krueger finally get what he's wanted all along - revenge?

- Abusive Parents: Few of the characters in the applyfic had a worse relationship with their parents.
- Nathan's parents. His father is an abusive neglectful drunk who is jobless and an uncaring parent towards his son. His mother is not so much better too, she was a drug addict. While she noticed Nathan, she paid more attention to the drugs than her own son. His father much worse still. During foster care, most of Nathan's foster parents are implied to be uncaring towards him, they only care about money and well checks against him.
- Victoria's parents are emotionally neglectful to their daughter by themselves constantly arguing, it led Victoria to run away from home. It's gets worse when her mother remarried a guy namely Orson, who is nothing but lazy and selfish. When Victoria was 14 years old, her stepfather, Orson raped her while he was drunk. She had a strained relationship with her mother because of it.
- Preston's father is emotionally, physically and mentally abusing his son. He wanted to make decisions for his son instead of Preston making his own. Whenever Preston did something wrong or losing a football game, his dad whipped him in a back with a belt for punishment. His mother is a better parent than his father was.
- Carmela's parents. They're not as bad as many examples. But her parents are originally too strict and was very hard on Carmela and her siblings, and always expecting them to be perfect. On top of that, they won't let Carmela attend any parties but her family members only.
- Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Gwen, Rosalind and Victoria are this to the core with their personalities.
- Alpha Bitch: Cornelia Kline, the queen bee of Springwood High. She is an elitist mean girl who bullies others students such as Callie and Nathan for fun.
- Averted with Hazel Sinclair who is another popular girl in school, but she's openly friendly and respectful to everyone.
- Big Man on Campus: Preston, Sean and Chance are popular, athletic, charismatic and good-looking popular guys at Springwood High School. Although Chance is more of a Big Jerk on Campus.
- Cruel Cheerleader: Cornelia is the captain of the cheerleading team, has a mean, snobby and a bitchy streak.
- Zig-zagged for Victoria. While she's a rebellious, slutty cheerleader, she isn't that bad and keep in mind that she has Hidden Depths.
- Education Mama: Carmela's parents didn't react this well when her daughter had a failing grade in school.
- Everytown, America: Springwood, Ohio, the small town of Ohio and entire premise of the applyfic.
- High School: Despite this story having a horror fic, its involving teenagers dealing with their adolescences in their lives especially the killings around the town.
- Lipstick Lesbian: Hazel is very feminine and trendy, but she's secretly into females and is a lesbian.
- Angelina and Celeste wear girly outfits and does girly things, but they are openly bisexual respectively.
- Lovable Alpha Bitch: Hazel Sinclair is one of the most popular girls in Springwood High with great fashion sense and has a snobby attitude, but she's not as bad as Cornelia, also she's a Nice Girl all along.
- Parental Neglect: Most of the characters in the series seems to be uninvolved with their children’s lives.
- Rosalind’s father is neglectful to his daughter, he only cares about drinking and almost never around at home to be there for his daughter. Which is why Rosalind became a goth in the first place.
- Victoria’s parents had an Awful Wedded Life and they are too busy arguing than paying attention to their own daughter. It was Victoria’s reasoning to be rebellious and has no parental control on her.
- Gwen’s father isn’t any bad as other examples, but he was being unintentionally neglect to his daughter and keep focusing on his music. It was justified because he lost his wife 3 years prior before the story started.
- Nathan’s parents on an another hand, they have seem to be having no interested of being in their son’s lives.
- Stepford Smiler: Cindy is proud of being an overachiever and a perfect daughter of the Baker family, and puts up with a confident facade. But deep down she feels like she's putting too much pressure on herself and wants to give up everything in her life. After everything has happening in this town including the part about Callie's childhood's friend death, she pretends that everything is normal.
- Preston is enjoying his life as pretty popular athlete, but in reality he was vulnerable, insecure and lonely because of his abusive father.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Rosalind, Carmela, Callie & Riley are the tomboys, while Cindy, Hazel, Angelina and Victoria are the girly girls. But Celeste and Gwen are in-between.
- Twofer Token Minority: Most of the characters in particular.
- Riley is black, non-binary lesbian.
- Angelina is bisexual and latina.
- Rosalind is asian and queer.
- As for Jonesy who is latino and pansexual as well.
- Gwen and Hiriam are black and their sexuality is unlabeled.
