Carson Crosses Canada is a Children's Picture Book by Linda Bailey and Kass Reich.

Carson is a dog who lives in a little house in British Columbia with his owner, Annie Magruder. One day, Annie tells Carson that they'll be visiting Annie's sick sister, Elsie, in Newfoundland. And also, that there will be a surprise for Carson when they get there.

So, with their bags packed, Carson and Annie set out on a cross-country trip across Canada.

The book was published May 30th, 2017.

  • Black Bead Eyes: Most everyone in the book has their eyes like this, barring the one set of eyes seen in the bushes.
  • By the Lights of Their Eyes: While Annie and Carson are on the road early in the book, in the bushes, a set of glowing yellow eyes can be seen.
  • Canine Companion: Carson is this for Annie.
  • Filthy Fun: When Annie and Carson get to the Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick, Carson makes for the first mud puddle he finds, despite Annie yelling at him not to.
  • The Reveal: Annie keeps telling Carson that Elsie has a surprise for Carson, which he'll see when they get to her house. Said surprise is that Elsie is now the owner of Carson's brother, Digby.
  • Road Trip Plot: The plot is that Annie and Carson are driving across Canada to visit Annie's sister, Elsie.
