The Knights of Arrethtrae
The Kingdom of Arrethtrae is the setting for two six-book series by Chuck Black. The works are Christian allegory fantasy. The official page can be found here

The first series is The Kingdom Series, comprised of the following:
- Kingdom's Dawn
- Kingdom's Hope
- Kingdom's Edge
- Kingdom's Call
- Kingdom's Quest
- Kingdom's Reign
Taking place somewhere between Edge and Quest is The Knights of Arrethtrae series, comprised of the following:
- Sir Kendrick and The Castle of Bel Lione
- Sir Bentley and Holbrook Court
- Sir Dalton and the Shadow Heart
- Lady Carliss and the Waters of Moorue
- Sir Quinlan and the Swords of Valor
- Sir Rowan and the Camerian Conquest
Arrethtrae provides examples of:
- Big Bad: Lucius the Dark Knight appears in both series, and is the overriding threat.
- Master Poisoner: Lord Malco, from Lady Carliss and the Waters of Moorue, uses esca venom. He uses humans to feed his lizards.
- Wardens Are Evil: Lord Drox, from Sir Dalton and the Shadow Heart, ones a prison. The doors have no locks, but anyone who tries to escape is used as the prey of a hunt.
