Passion is the latest Oracle in a long line and needs to complete divine Trials in order to be considered legitimate. A Study of Martyrs follows Passion's journey and continued discovery of the world around them, its history, the secrets it keeps, and who's keeping them.

Coming off of the heels of The Reconstruction and the tragedy of the Uprising, Passion deals with a world that loves its Oracle, yet is still frightened of the Oracle's capabilities. Passion needs to earn the favor of Rosaryidia's gods and its people if they're going to survive this politically intricate landscape and the legacy of their foreoracles in one piece.

Unfortunately, not even Passion knows the depths of their foreoracle's sins, and why parts of the history books are so notably empty. What's more, they're not even sure if they want to find out.

Charged with political intrigue, action, and inconvenient clothing, A Study of Martyrs seeks to explore the human and godly condition to unravel what freedom really means, and what our gods are with us, and more importantly: what our gods are without us.
