Tropes associated with the characters of AGENCIA:
- Blue Blood - It is implied that Alexander is an aristocrat. Most of the implication, however, comes from his mother's side.
- But Not Too Foreign - Amelia's mother is half-British. David's deceased mother was half-Korean. Alexander's stepfather is half-American, while his biological parents are half-Chinese.
- Combat Pragmatist:
- Alexander breaking out a Parasol of Pain in a fistfight to give Groin Attacks and Ass Shoves.
- David spamming Groin Attack after Groin Attack, Tae Kwon Do mastery be damned.
- Vash and Terrence are Krav Maga practitioners.
- Conscription: Everyone is either a reservist or an active soldier. Think Singapore, Switzerland, or Israel writ large.
- The best part? It actually helps the economy, since everyone at least had basic training, which works wonders for leadership skills.
- Cool Sword - Alexander and Vash both have kampilans, but Vash's sword is customized to yield a BFS.
- Full-Name Ultimatum - Used by Amelia as she doubted Alexander's complement... after which, he uses the same in return.
- Genius Bruiser - Vash. Not only is he an active Marine, he's also a competent engineer.
- Heroic Bastard - Alexander's biological father is a politician from a well-off family, not a half-American lawyer.
- Historical Hero Upgrade - At least two XX Century Popes have been canonized in the story: Bl. John XXIII and
Ven.Bl. John Paul II. This troper plans to add Ven. Pius XII to this list.- With the beatification of John Paul II on 05-01-2011 (St. Joseph the Worker, 2011), the Historical Hero Upgrade could end up an example of Life Imitates Art.
- One-Man Army - Alexander had once gone 40 for 40 when the NPA attacked his alma mater, and he was called for service as a weekend warrior.
