Flashback(s) to exactly when someone's previously happy life turns awful. Usually involves the death of somebody's close one.
- It was back when I was a carefree youth with a short attention span, reading a Laconic page. The birds were chirping, the warm sun caressed my cheeks. Then it got suddenly cold and an unnatural force dragged me back screaming to the unabridged version – and I had to read it in its entirety.
I still sometimes see the words when I close my eyes.
