- Opening Theme
Mr. Peanutbutter's House was a show created by David Chase to capitalize on the success of Horsin' Around. Starring dog actor, Mr. Peanutbutter as an adopted father to 3 humans; the twins, Zoë and Zelda, and an older boy, Zack. Some thought it would lead to other shows about animals adopting humans.
Mr. Peanutbutter's House contains examples of:
- The Danza: Mr. Peanutbutter is portrayed by Mr. Peanutbutter.
- Interspecies Adoption: The premise.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: Zoë and Zelda have opposite personalities; the former is cynical and sarcastic, the latter is childish and playful.
- Spiritual Successor: It is often considered this to Horsin' Around, as the premise is overall the same, and Mr. Peanutbutter and Bojack Horseman (the star of Horsin' Around) appear to be close in real life.
- What Could Have Been: The original pilot starred Vincent D'Onofrio, but he was replaced by Mr. Peanutbutter when the directors found him a better fit.
