- In "Petarded", Meg had a slumber party with her girlfriends and Ruth suggested that they compare each other's breast sizes. This could have been just a joke on the fact that the moment Quagmire left, the girls finally started something that would arouse him but it could also be seen as Ruth seeing Quagmire's absence as a chance for her and the girls to fool around without Glenn having to know about their lesbianism.
- In the episode "Peter's Got Woods", Brian gets a girlfriend and stops hanging out with Peter, who then starts spending a lot of time with James Woods. However, James soon becomes obsessed with Peter, to the point of acting jealous of Brian when the latter returns to reconcile with him. Many fans interpret his possessive behavior as a sign that he is romantically attracted to Peter.
- In "Pilling Them Softly", Peter "prepares" himself for a cooking competition by repeatedly pulling down Cleveland's pants and spanking his bare butt with a spoon, a swordfish, and a box of eggs. He later tells Cleveland that he enjoyed smacking his butt. Though it's clear that his actions were just a childish prank, some viewers delight in interpreting Peter's behavior as a sign of sexual attraction towards his best friend.
- Meg insists on making sure Patty isn't taken advantage of in "Scammed Yankees". They hug and walk away hand in hand after Meg gets Patty to realize that Brian was only dating her for her body.
- In "Brief Encounter", Brian deduces from the smell of Lois' jogging bra, that she was running fast because Bonnie was watching. At first, this may seem like Lois was just trying to one-up her friend by running extra fast in front of her but it can also be inferred that Bonnie was staring at her and Lois was running extra fast because she wanted to impress her little crush with her excellent running skills.
