Heartwarming / Zombillénium

  • Lucie. She is just a cheerful little girl full of energy that has a great interest for the supernatural and still loves her dad even when he becomes a monster. And despite her TraumaCongaLine she just remains as sweet and determined as ever.
  • Hector's PapaWolf instincts also cross into NightmareFuel territory, but it is so comforting to know that as the story goes on he realises how much his daughter needs him and how much he loves her in return to the point that he is willing to do anything to see her again.
  • Hector's promise to take Lucie there is what keeps him going to save Zombillenium from bankruptcy.
  • Gretchen and Lucie's interactions. For almost the entire first part of the movie we have seen Gretchen as a sour and moody woman who is annoyed by zombies. When she first meets Lucie she is well deep into Character Development and her interactions with her show how kind, gentle and sweet she can be with the girl. The girls befriend quickly and by the end Lucie considers her to be a ParentalSubstitute.
  • When Lucie talks to her father through the intercom, she tells him that people have been saying mean things about him after his death, but despite that she won't believe them because her mother wouldn't have "loved him till the end" if he really was like that.
    • She also tells him that she's now at the park like he promised, but it is not the same if he's not there with her.
      • The fact that said speech is what makes Hector snap out and get out of Hell to rescue her also counts as a happy TearJerker.
  • When the vampires attack, all the zombies run for cover, but one stays put and tries to protect those who can't run away.
  • All the zombies rising up from Hell to march through the park for their rights. And Sirius finally getting to lead the protest he has always dreamed of.
    • The werewolf who had been put in charge of security dropping his badge to join his comrades in their protest against the vampires' tyranny.
  • At the beginning, Hector was told he would never see his daughter again since he was now a monster and his soul belonged to the Devil. But in the end, it is shown that he is allowed to spend time with her and it is implied that she now lives with him and Gretchen at the park, or at least she spends her weekends away from the boarding school with them.
  • Francis, despite being a vampire himself, is shown to be a very good boss who truly cares about his employees and firmly believes all monsters belong in zombillenium.
  • When Francis loses the park to Steven he silently rides down the elevator to hell, he is clearly struggling because he doesn't know how to tell his workers all their effort was for nothing. But he doesn't need to speak, the zombies understand and as a last departing gesture out of respect for their boss, they all rise their hands forming the sign of the horns.
