Heartwarming / Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018)

• Zed pretends to be a dog sometimes for Zoey, as zombies can't have pets.
  • He even (reluctantly) does the same thing when Addison sneaks out to visit.
  • Later on, Addison gives Zoey a dog.
• Bucky knows that Addison has white hair, but doesn't bully her about it.
• Bonzo in almost much every scene he's in. The guys the tallest and most muscular of the zombie kids and speaks exclusively in zombie tongue, but he's also one of the nicest and tries to go around giving hugs- including a human security guard.
• In the school halls, Zed, Eliza, and Bonzo come across some graffiti that reads "NO ZOMBIES." While Zed and Eliza are discouraged by this, Bonzo pulls out a green marker and edits the graffiti to read "KNOW ZOMBIES" instead.
• Addie's face when she realizes Zed came to watch her at the pep rally.
• Addie trying (and hilariously failing) to thank talk with Zed in Zombie Tongue during Lunch.
• Zed and Addison’s duet “Someday” and its slow ballad reprise. It doubles as a Falling-in-Love Montage, and it’s pretty cute.
• Addison feeling comfortable enough to tell Zed that she wears a wig (after he called her perfect, which is equally heartwarming in its own way.)
• The Zombie Light Garden.
• This scene when talking about Addison, especially considering what Eliza thought about humans.
  Eliza: She's cool.
  Zed: Yeah, for a human, right?
  Eliza: No, she's just cool.
  • Later on, even after having a relapse into bitterness against humans, Eliza re-iterates her feelings about Addison.
  Eliza: Addison, you're not going to talk me out of...wait, you agree with me? (turns to Zed) OK, I like this girl!
• Addison actually pushing Zed to be less conformist, especially after he puts his health on the line to mess with his Z Band and look human.
• Addison’s "I Am Becoming" Song is rather heartwarming itself, deciding to no longer hide her true self and reveals her unusually white hair to the school.
• The football coach saying that Zed is one of them. And Principal Lee agreeing without hesitation.
• Bucky eventually befriending the zombies due to being confronted by Zoey's sheer innocence. He attends the block party and tells Zoey that "she's good."
  • At the block party, Bucky does a two-person dance with Eliza, emphasizing their not so different nature.
  • Also at the block party, Zed and Addison's dads are hanging out.
    • Especially on Zevon's (Zed's dad ) part, considering Dale pretty much called his son a man-eating savage RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM.
• The relationship between Eliza and Zoey is pretty sweet.
• Some lines said in "BAMM", especially in the block party version, where Tracy, Lacey, and Stacey sing it.
  Tracey: Call on your friends when you're caught in the middle.
  Stacey: And you should do the same like I do the same.
  Lacey: You should be yourself, that's the coolest thing.
• The Deleted Scene with Zed, Addie, and Zoey at the beach.
