Heartwarming / Wizardry

• The Good Ending of Wizardry 8, your characters are made the new Cosmic Lords: becoming benevolent deities who immediately begin to help the many races you have encountered throughout the game, including putting goodness in the souls of the Rapax (forcing them to make a race-wide Heel–Face Turn), as well as creating entire new civilizations to populate the formerly-barren galaxy. The one sour note is that you had to kill Phoonzang in order to achieve this, though the narrator assures you that his original self would have been greatly pleased with your divine works.
• The Phoonzang ending is a Bittersweet Ending, though still has some warmth: the universe has been totally destroyed... But Phoonzang has been redeemed and he happily becomes your party's mentor in making a new universe.
