Heartwarming / Wishfart

• On a more general level, the Odd Friendship of Dez, Puffin, and Akiko seen throughout the show. Despite how the trio frequently exasperate each other, the writers do an excellent job of showing that they are still True Companions to each other no matter what.
• Dez helping the Victims of Dez support group find ways to use their backfired wishes for the good of others in "Aw, Man!". It really shows how much he wants the wishes he grants to make people happy, even if they never turn out as intended.
• Akiko reconciling with her parents at the end of "And They Ate the Goldfish".
• A lot of the Ship Tease between Dez and Tsuni is quite cute, like Tsuni happily giving Dez a free kiss for his childhood bucket list in "Clip, Clop, We Won't Stop".
• In "Cartwheel! Cartwheel! Cartwheel!", Akiko sacrifices her newly-regained status as a living person when she learns that Dez is going to sacrifice his own life to reset the balance of life and death, despite how much she loves being able to feel things that she couldn't as a ghost.
• The King of the Underworld inviting Dez and his friends to his family dinner as thanks for helping him reconcile with his dysfunctional siblings.
• At the end of "Christmas Times the Max", Santa Claus decides to fix Dez's disastrous Christmas in July by instead giving all the presents to everyone in the Underworld and doing away with the Underworld Naughty List (which had literally all the Underworld's inhabitants on it). And he does this all in his underwear no less.
