Heartwarming / When the Wind Blows

• Jim's efforts to keep Hilda's spirits up as their situation worsens. Ultimately futile, but it's sweet how much he loves her and doesn't want her to worry.
• Combined with Tear Jerker: After Jim freaks out about how there's nothing left to drink, he shakes Hilda, who asks he stop shouting. He immediately apologizes and hugs her.
• The Bloggses splitting the last lozenge in two when they run out of water. Preceded by each of them insisting that the other take the full sweet.
• The end where the Bloggses are praying together. Dying together.
• The end of the credits stating that the film "is dedicated to the future of Charlotte, Katherine & Jessica, William, Leo Khan, Nicholas, and Keenan, who were born while the film was being made".
