• At the end of Episode 4, Eriko defeats her friend Miu in a match, then Miu announces her retirement. Eriko cries and hugs Miu tightly.
• After Eriko loses the finals against Ruka, Ruka collapses in Eriko's arms, and whispers to her, "Keep singing your songs."
