  • If Eugene decides to reunite Luke with his dead cat, it's revealed that Kitty doesn't blame Luke for their death and tries to reassure him that he tried his best. This gives Luke closure, and he stops having nightmares.
  • While punching someone is usually one of the last things that could be considered this, Eugene punching Sean allows the former to get it into the latter's head that Linda didn't want a perfect son but loved Sean just the way he was.
  • Eugene and Sean entering Linda's dream and comforting her.
  • Given that the player makes the right choices, Eugene's growing friendship with Luke.
    • After Eugene gets fired by Boss, he becomes depressed, something that Luke takes notice of. When Luke finds Eugene at the playground, he decides to have a heart-to-heart talk with him. Eugene can decide to trust him with his story and manages to tell him what happened (leaving out the fact that his coworkers were ghosts). Luke sympathizes with Eugene's situation but tells him that he can at least understand why Boss did what he did.
  • Eugene shielding Luke after Jack attacks the both of them.
  • In the endings where Eugene decides to not rely on Charlie to punish Jack, he decides to risk his life to help Finley and Tatum. If he decides to continue the rescue after Jack catches him in the act, he will break a window to turn Jack's attention towards him and buy the kids some time to escape.
  • The Outside of the Mirror ending. While Eugene never visits the Underworld office again, it's because of his newfound confidence and he and the ghosts part on friendly terms. He then goes on to make even more friends with Luke and Finely and Tatum are saved from their abusive father.
  • In the good endings, Eugene is able to look himself in the mirror and smile back in confidence.
  • Setting the player's title to Saved the Children shows Eugene hugging Finley and Tatum.
