- After opening Ire's third Heart, seeing her snap out of her resignation to death, and hearing her say she doesn't want to die gives the impression that you've really helped someone for once.
- One of the Brothers' commandments states, "Don't be afraid of anything. Remember, we are watching over you." This could be construed as a literal case of Big Brother Is Watching, but if you recall that some of the brothers such as Montgolfier, Patriarch and even Mantid seem to genuinely like you and want you to join them, it becomes rather touching.
