MOMENTS PAGES ARE SPOILERS-OFF!

  • During the retaking of Laraunt, if Riesz is in the party but Hawkeye isn't, they get a brief Ship Tease moment where he kisses her on the cheek, leading to a brief Post-Kiss Catatonia. Given her normal demeanour, it's oddly Adorkable. On the other side, after retaking Laurant, if Hawkeye is in the party but Riesz isn't, there's another brief moment when Riesz goes off to continue her quest to find Elliot. When Hawkeye tries to say something to her, she immediately holds her face and awkwardly leaves the scene.
  • Angela reuniting with her mother either in her ending or as part of her story if she's the main character. When not Brainwashed and Crazy, Queen Valda proves to be a stern-but-caring mother who scolds Angela for causing trouble for others but is also patient in allowing Angela to learn magic at her own pace and happy to see that Angela's made new friends. Upon seeing this side of the queen once again (and for the first time in a very long time), Angela is driven to tears.
    • The remake adds to this exponentially. The moment Angela learns her mother was Brainwashed and Crazy and really did love her, Angela puts all her efforts towards rescuing her mother come hell or high water. This culminates in an amazing "The Reason You Suck" Speech to the Crimson Wizard when they finally come to blows, where she laughs at his attempts to give her power in return for her willing service to the Dragon Lord; gaining magic was never about lording it over others and becoming powerful, it was all so Angela could continue her mother's legacy and protect her people while getting the love she craved from her mother. When Angela does rescue her mother, it's clear that everything Angela has done has already made Valda proud beyond words, and the post-game segment between Angela and her mother reflect on how happy Angela is to finally be praised by her mother, and how much Valda truly loves her daughter.
  • A touch on the lighter side of things, but Flammie is visibly happy when Riesz or Fairy names her, and when you beat Dangaard, the camera zooms out instead of focusing on your three person party to acknowledge that Flammie was instrumental to helping you win, too. She's even smiling and chirping, as if to say, 'Yay, we did it!'
  • Kevin's segment during the extended character montage in the remake's credits. Not only is he reunited with Karl, but has taken it upon himself to personally train the newly-reincarnated Ludgar.
    • If Kevin's in a party with Charlotte in charge (or Kevin himself is in charge), you'll note that you haven't been teleported out of Ferolia Castle after rescuing the Faerie. Go upstairs, and Kevin will confront his father about what happened with Karl. Rather than belittle Kevin further (well, needlessly, anyway), Gauser instead allows Karl (who he dug out of a shallow grave) to return to Kevin and explains his ideology to his son, allowing the two to mend their familial bond before Kevin turns his wrath squarely on Goremand.
  • Riesz obtaining the Kind Sphere in order to promote to Class 4 and getting a So Proud of You speech from the spirits of both of her parents.
    • In a similar vein, Charlotte receiving the Hope Sphere allows her to get a similar speech from the souls of her own parents, who reassure her that they were happy together and that they'll always watch over her with love.
    • In another similar vein, Duran receiving the Valor Sphere has him reunite with Loki, his father, albeit temporarily as he was brought back from the dead on borrowed time to test his son’s swordsmanship. Even after losing to Duran, Loki congratulates his son on beating him and truly becoming the world’s best swordsman, and he no longer has any regrets. Before his time is over, Loki tells Duran that he’s proud to have him as his son.
  • Despite the remake's voice acting being quite Narmy, Belladonna's final moment if Riesz or Hawkeye aren't the main character. She actually sounds like someone who is in shock at seeing all of her plans go to waste, and thus has nothing to live for.
  • Having an all-girl party adds several bits of banter throughout the story, but one especially notable moment is seeing Riesz and Charlotte actively cheering Angela on from the sidelines rather than simply watching when Angela takes on the Queen's Trial for her Class 4 item.
    • Same-gender teams in general have a lot of friendly, supportive quips between the party members at multiple points within the story that serve to demonstrate how quickly they've become true companions. For example, if Riesz has Angela helping her take Laurent, she'll remark grimly after some battles that she has to save her Kingdom...only for Angela to reassure Riesz that she isn't alone in the endeavor. Considering how similar their circumstances are, it's nice to see how close the two princesses can get, especially considering their wildly differing personalities. Charlotte will also chip in words of encouragement at multiple points to both of them.
Riesz: I must save my kingdom.
Angela: We're here to help! You don't have to do this alone.
  • Charlotte’s ending after seeing the Priest of Light alive and well. He regrettably tells her that Heath had healed him at the cost of his soul, causing Charlotte to break down in tears. Moments later, she was taken by surprise when Heath suddenly walks in alive and well. He explained that after his souls was consumed and lost in the darkness, the Goddess of Mana used her power to save him and bring him back to Wendel. Charlotte couldn’t help but cry Tears of Joy into Heath, happy to have her dear friend back home.
  • Even NPCs can have these moments. That corrupt noble that Hawkeye robbed at the start of the game was in the dumps, but his family took him in once the lust for lucre was gone from his eyes, and he even turned his life around and became a figure of good standing in Sirhtan. As proof that good will goes around, Hawkeye is impressed enough to learn a new Chain Ability just from this guy's tale.
