  • On Retasu's first day of work, she accidentally ends up yelling at some customers while trying to take their order. Rather than get upset with her, the customers immediately understand that it's her first day, and assure her she's doing great.
  • Mint actually steps away from her afternoon tea to help Retasu clean up a broken plate. Even Ichigo has to admit Mint's got a nice side.
  • During their date at the zoo, Ichigo notices one of the cats in the petting area is injured and Masaya helps bandage it up. The cat later returns the favor by giving its bell collar to Masaya, who then gives it to Ichigo to replace the one she lost in the fight.
  • Episode 5
    • A small thing, but Masaya has started calling Ichigo by her first name.
    • When the gang goes to see Mint at her house, the first person to invite them in is her older brother, Seiji. He also is nothing but supportive of Mint, as opposed to his previous characterization.
    • Every interaction Mint has with her dog Mickey. She clearly loves him very much, and is thrown into turmoil after he gets turned into a Kimera.
    • After the battle with Mickey, Quiche once again tries to go for Ichigo. Only this time, he's stopped by Mint aiming an arrow straight for his head, while she informs him that if even harms one hair on Ichigo's head, he'll regret it for the rest of his short life.
  • Episode 6: Retasu finally gets to be in a selfie with friends.
  • Episode 7
    • Masaya indirectly asks Ichigo out on another future date, and inadvertently reveals he's been interested in her, too.
    • When attacked by the hornets in Episode 7, Masaya's first instinct is to grab a stick to protect Ichigo.
      • Ichigo doesn't just leave him alone either - she grabs a stick, too.
  • Episode 8
    • When Huacha ends up being too late to the table to get dessert, Lettuce offers to split hers with him.
  • In Episode 9, all of the Mews drop everything to help steer Ichigo and Masaya towards each other so he can give her some concert tickets.
  • Episode 12: Ichigo rushes to the concert hall after the battle, despite it long being over. Masaya is still waiting there for her - and the very first thing he does on seeing her is give her a hug. Additionally, the background music is a slow remix of "My Sweet Heart" sung by Ichigo's voice actress.
    • Furthermore, a fan did some research and determined that the estimated distance between Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium (the presumed concert location) is an hour by foot. Meaning Masaya waited for her nearly an hour after the concert was over in the pouring rain, just to make sure she was okay.
  • In the finale, Deep Blue's willingness to compromise when Ichigo proves not all humans are evil. As long as his people is saved, he doesn't care how he does.
    • And later, after Pie stabs Deep Blue to insure the aliens can come to Earth and invade, he, alongside Masaya (whose body he was inhabiting) and Ichigo use the energy of the Mew Aqua inside him to heal Earth and turn the adopted homeworld of the aliens into a paradise, fully knowing he's going to die in the process - and making sure Masaya survives the sacrifice.

Petit Mew Mew

  • In the aside for episode 5, Mint invites the others to stay for dinner.
  • Episode 7, Masaya thanks Ichigo for the charm and tells her that it's given him good luck in lots of other areas too; getting up early, winning prizes at drawings, reaching crossways on time, etc. He then clarifies that he was joking. However he does love the charm because it feels like she's always with him - and then clarifies that he isn't joking.
