- Trinity and Clay give the feeling of a happily married couple based on partners who are also best friends with each other. They tease each other and banter warmly before Clay asks Trinity if she wants to play a couple of rounds with him.
- Clay keeps saying that he needs to look for her when she doesn't return, even when he's distracted by the gambling and the drinks. He instantly discards his game to save her when Boone shows him Trinity's plight via the camera feed.
- Trinity enjoys her time in the gardens before she discovers Tequila's body. When she knocks against the tray, she thinks the surprise the Staff was talking about might be a romantic one orchestrated by Clay. She feels bad for the potential that she spoiled the surprise.
- They met because Clay caught her cheating at the games with her heightened senses of hearing and touch. Trinity considered herself to be a winner still, because she met him in that moment.
- Several of the guests note that Lafcadio helped them stay safe. They thank him for his assistance. Many of them also worry about Lucas and tell Lafcadio, his old friend and mentor, to talk with him and help him through it.
- Tequila's musical number when you save her you save her from laceration. She invites Lafcadio to play piano for the rehearsal because she knows he's good at it. She confides that she once wrote a jealous song about Lucas and Eleanor (which she did, and was probably due to Grimmaw in context), but she wishes them the best anyway before recognizing the tribute song as Lafcadio plays it. Said song is about Lucas meeting Eleanor for the first time and falling for her. Once it's done, Belle compliments Lafcadio again as he begins to cry and silently leaves the stage.
- One look and I shatter like glass.

- While also doubling as a Tear Jerker in context, Redd Rockridge's devotion to Greyson Grayson is very sweet.
- The fact that in spite of the fact that they are all seemingly seedy elitist characters, all the guests are just a relatively normal set of close-knit friends enjoying a party who help each other out when in need, and makes you that much more invested in saving them. Special points go to Lafcadio / Lucas, the hero of this story, the Marquis' father figure and avatar for Lucas's self-forgiveness; Aurum, who doesn't suspect anything, but is helping his friend regardless and is warm towards the Staff member he talks to; and Willow, who tries to take on an entirely different threat for Tequila, and has an Affectionate Nickname for Lafcadio, "Lafy."
