- The mermaid showing up just in time to save Cornith's life from another mermaid. Doubles as a Moment of Awesome.
Ep 45 (friends?)
- When Cornith shows the mermaid a couple of words through ASL, the last one being the one for friendship, which is done by using two hands, the mermaid does one half of the friendship on top of Cornith's hand in the last panel.
Ep 96 Together again!
- After both Cornith and Skylla had a crummy time during the previous evening, they brighten up when they see each other once again.
Ep 101 heart to heart
- After Cornith tearfully expresses what's been bothering her, Skylla goes in for a kiss (on Cornith's cheek on her face) to try to comfort her.
