     1 - Sixteen
  • The entire scene where Impa gives Zelda a surprise birthday cake in the morning. Zelda and Impa's friendship wasn't explored in any of the flashbacks in the prior story, but the very first thing we get to see is that Impa really is a grounding relationship for Zelda, something that she truly values, and even adds some more context to why Impa speaks so fondly of her 100 years later.
    • In fact, they're almost never seen apart in this chapter. They get moments implying a Pseudo-Romantic Friendship with how Impa comforts Zelda, and with the way Zelda playfully pokes fun at a previous accident Impa had with her powers.
  • King Rhoam gets more scenes outside of his flashback appearances where he really loves his daughter. We get to see him delivering the bouquet of rare Silent Princesses to Zelda, and even more than that, giving her back an artifact that reminds Zelda of her mother.
  • Link and his knights with whom he fights alongside are close friends. Even after he beats four of them at once, he still takes the time to compliment the tactic they were trying to use.

2 - Battle of Hyrule Field
  • King Rhoam gets more time to show himself as a truly good man. In addition to his actions in the previous chapter, he fights alongside his army on the battlefield, and saves several of his own people from death, and doesn't rest until most of them are safe.
  • The people of Hyrule who survived the monster assault come together to help each other through the devastation. A localized Apocalypse Anarchy could have ensued, but instead they help each other out, even the lone children in the devastation are taken in by strangers to keep them safe.
  • Hestu's presence brings a fresh bit of light in an otherwise dark chapter. The moment he arrives, it's nothing but him being a loveable giant who gives Link a massive magical-bubble Bear Hug. When asked to help the survivors, he doesn't hesitate to help who he calls his friends.

3 - Road to the Ancient Tech Lab
  • Lurelin Village takes in the refugees from Hyrule Field's battle until the village is rebuilt. They're separated by so many miles, but the people opened their homes to those who needed it.
  • Master Kohga compliments Sooga and Kolana on their prowess and how they've gotten so good in their skills.
  • Impa shows that she's willing to give her life for Zelda. Tyria and Ulo are willing to do the same. In turn, they express nothing but gratitude to her for saving their lives when she activates the Guardian herself.
  • It's unknown why, but Sooga and Kolana have great respect for Zelda. In fact, they actually expected that she and Impa and the group would win the fight against the corrupted Guardian.

     4 - Eccentric Geniuses
  • It's as hilarious as it is sweet when Purah grabs Zelda and Impa, who didn't expect her to do so, to take a selfie with the Sheikah Slate, especially with Zelda's bright smile.

     5 - Cult of Demise
  • Link and his company are beyond elated that the final group of researchers escaped death. It's speculated that the presence of the Gerudo kept Astor and the Yiga Clan away.
  • It's more of a disturbing scene than heartwarming, but it is still nice that Hestu, Bani, and Link don't just leave the dead Sheikah in the Lomei Labyrinth Island, and take the time to take what remains of their bodies back so that they can get properly put to rest.
  • King Rhoam expresses confidence that his daughter will be able to recruit the Champions.

     6 - Zora Wellspring
  • The first thing Link does when Impa tells him that the monsters were already cleared out of the way is look to Zora's Domain with a big smile. He knows exactly who did that, and he's proud of her for it.
  • Link confesses to Impa that he has no regrets about the love he shared with Mipha. Conversely, Mipha doesn't seem to regret anything about her relationship with him in turn.
  • Ulo's marriage to his husband Roro. It was already teased as being a sweet marriage, and it's confirmed with Roro choosing to accompany him on the trip to Zora's Domain.
  • Princess Zelda is clearly something of an Honorary Aunt to Lochlia. In the original flashback, Lochlia was riding Zelda's shoulders. Here, we get to see that she had in fact run up to Zelda to greet her.
  • Lochlia is a complete Daddy's Girl like her mother, with how she gets so excited to see her daddy, and then not wasting any time jumping on him when she gets to go to him personally.

     7 - Gerudo Tempest
  • Robbie and Cheria share a little moment together where they get to look at Hyrule from the same cliffside where Link would get to see Hyrule 100 years later.
    • The same moment is where they start officially teasing a potential Relationship Upgrade, with both of them feeling a spark between them.
  • While Zelda has handmaidens, Impa is the one who helps Zelda change into her formal ceremonial wear and does up her hair.
  • When the Gerudo express apprehension towards Tyria, Zelda immediately speaks up for her. Equally nicely is that Impa chooses to stay outside with her.
  • Urbosa's joy at seeing Princess Zelda coming to visit.
  • Impa shows Tyria the amazing view of the desert from the spring above Gerudo Town. Even better is that Impa goes down and retrieves the Sheikah Slate from Zelda so that Tyria could show her son the view too.
  • Master Kohga is such a Father to His Men that he finds the strength to break through Astor's mind control over him, even if only for a brief instant.
  • Urbosa briefly addresses her unborn baby, saying that she's looking forward to the day where she'd learn to control their family's power. Of course, it's undercut by the fact that Urbosa won't see it.
