- Lyra's story is a high-octane Tear Jerker, being a take on The Little Match Girl, but at least it has a beautifully Happy Ending of Scootaloo being reunited with her mother, a human reincarnated into Rainbow Dash. At least until Lyra gives it a dose of Mood Whiplash.
- Logistics aside, Twilight manages to bond with and adopt a Dalek. Named Rollypolly.
