Heartwarming / The Island (2005)

• Mac's Heroic Sacrifice. When he realises Merrick's mercenaries have arrived to capture Lincoln and Jordan, he yells for the duo to run, warning them and giving them time to escape as he's shot off a balcony and killed. Mac didn't have anything to gain from helping the clones, but he did it anyway because Lincoln was his friend, at the cost of his own life.
• Laurent's eventual Heel–Face Turn, mostly promoted by his being able to relate to the clone's situation. As well as finding Dr. Merrick to be a downright vile human being who enjoys the horrors he inflicts on them.
• When Jordan and Lincoln finally figure out just what they've been missing...
  Jordan: (whispers) There really is an Island.
• While it's admittedly a bit of an Esoteric Happy Ending, still. It was a relief all those clones who were about to be "disposed" of were saved at the last minute.
