Heartwarming / The Future is Wild

  • It is hinted that the squibbons will eventually become sentient and build a civilization. Heartwarming Moments, or Cthulhu Mythos nightmare come to life? You decide!
    • So that's how Mind Flayers came to be!
    • A similar one is where the squibbons save their baby from being eaten by the Megasquid.
  • When the mother Rattleback saves her baby from being eaten by Deathgleaners. It's made even sweeter when we see them cuddling after being reunited.
  • Spinks in love, softly calling and waving to one another in the moonlight.
  • In a way, the portrayal of many of the predators not as bloodthirsty monsters who yearn for murder, but as simply animals, trying to survive and make a living. The Snowstalker is just trying to bring food home to her cubs, and the father Carakiller is just trying to protect his eggs from meddling Rattlebacks. The food chain is not portrayed with picking any side, and many of the predators are portrayed sympathetically.
  • The Great Blue Windrunner soaring over the Great Plateau is a magnificent sight to behold, with the background Awesome Music serving only to highlight its graceful majesty.
  • The Poggles are adorable, with their cute little whistling squeaks making them even more adorable. Sadly, they also happen to be the last mammal alive, and go extinct at the end of the mass extinction.

From the cartoon:

  • The end of "Queen of the Scribbons part 2" when Buzzy returns to its parents. Considering how worried Emily was about leaving him alone, it was nice to see her being able to leave without worrying about it. Also in that episode, the relief when Ethan, Luis, and C.G. reunite with Emily.
    • Also, C.G's father commenting on their resourcefulness instead of how they left Emily or Emily running out of the time flyer without telling anyone. Considering how strict C.G's father is, it is nice to see him say positive things about the team.
  • When Luis is shaken up from a mission, the others comfort him.
  • In the episode "Be True To Your Crew", C.G's father is concerned enough about Emily, Ethan, and Luis to tell C.G. to return them to the 21st century so that they are able to relate to other people in their time.
    • Also, them eventually standing up to C.G.'s father to make him change his mind.
  • Luis and C.G's dad bonding.
