• "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)" off Speaking in Tongues. David Byrne, the king of awkward, cynical nerds, slowly lets his guard down over the course of a five-minute song about how he found his girlfriend. This is probably the most played Talking Heads song at weddings. The music video is also pretty heartwarming, with the first half being a montage of the band, including session musicians who worked on the recording and touring members who appeared in Stop Making Sense, watching old home movies of themselves.
• "City Of Dreams" off "True Stories". A surprisingly optimistic track, especially as it's played over the end credits of the movie, where it's followed by the sentence "If you can think of it, it exists somewhere."
