Even with all the deceptions and deaths, there were times when we were reminded that Nana and her fellow classmates were just a bunch of young kids trying to live their lives, along with all of the wholesome moments that came with it...
General
- Nana's unlikely friendship with Michiru. Even though she's tasked with killing as many of the Talented as she possibly can, she can't help but feel at ease with her around. This makes it all the more ironic that Michiru saving her life and dying as the result is what ultimately leads to Nana's road to redemption, swearing to never kill another Talented on her watch.
Anime
- Nana reading Michiru's diary and finding out that she geniuinly likes her friend.
- Nana taking care of Michiru, despite the former still being doubtful about her behaviour.
- Both Nana and Michiru goofing off and laughing when noticing that they both have messy and unwashed hair.
Manga
- Chapter 91 serves as the culmination of Nana's Redemption Quest and her coming to terms with all of the innocent lives she took under false guidance from Tsuruoka. Nana is seemingly going to kill Nanao with a glass shard, only to stop just close to his throat, to which even Nanao was taken aback. Even as he pleads with Nana to kill him as he is "tired", the girl simply denies him of that.Nana: I can't.
