Heartwarming / Superman: Red and Blue

• In Issue 5, we have "Generations", which opens with Jonathan Kent visiting Smallvile's local priest for advice on how to be a good father to the newly adopted Clark Kent. After hearing a story about how God told Jesus how proud He is of him, the priest tells Jonathan to do the same and tell Clark how much he loves him. Jonathan takes the words to heart and the next few pages are of him telling Clark that he loves him. After Jonathan's death however, Clark as Superman starts doing the same through telling the people he saves that he loves them too. The final page really takes the cake.
  Clark: (after flying into space and facing the Earth) I love you. I'm so proud of you.
• "Ally", the final story of Issue 6 and the overall series. A young boy says he looks up to Superman for his commitment to making the world a better place, but he has trouble with trying to live up to the Man of Steel's aspirations. One day, Superman makes an annoucement revealing his true identity as Clark Kent to the world. Inspired by this, the boy comes out as gay to his family and thanks Superman for helping him be true to himself.
• "For the Man Who Has Nothing" from Issue 4 shows Superman and the Justice League throwing a birthday party for Bizarro. However, it turns out to be a prank by Mr. Mxyzptlk to make fun of how Bizarro is just a clone of Superman. After Bizarro storms off in anger, the real Superman shows up to wish him a happy birthday by giving him a cupcake.
  Superman: Heard it was your special day. (lights the candle on the cupcake with his heat vision)
  Bizarro: Bizarro am sad.
• "A Man Most Saved" from Issue 3 centers on an interview with Charles Miles, a Heroic Bystander who Superman has saved since Charles was a boy. Charles talks about one time he saved Superman when he was shot with a Kryptonite bullet, only for the interview to be interrupted by an assassin disguising as a member of the news crew wanting to kill Charlea. When Superman rushes to save Charles only to get hit with a red Kryptonite bullet, Charles stabs the assassin in his hand and knocks him out, making this the second time he's saved Superman.
