General

  • Clones have been shown to value family, to love their brothers, and to want children, even if they don't think about the future or believe they can have them. From Waxer and Boil with Numa, to Cut and his family, the Clones and their relationship to their generals' padawans, and now Batch 99 with Omega. Without hesitation, they immediately adopt her and become fiercely protective of her. So does Rex within a few minutes of meeting her.

Season 1

    Episode 1: Aftermath
  • When Order 66 goes live, the crew (minus Crosshair) show that they are genuinely good people who have the blessing of not knowing just what is going on and wanting to peacefully resolve things. Hunter tries to find Caleb and help him so he doesn't get hurt, and the others (again, besides Crosshair) remain disturbed at what has happened to the regs and the Jedi.
  • The Food Fight starts because some troopers insulted Omega, which got Wrecker riled up. And once he sets it off, the rest of his teammates, and Omega, get into the brawl too.
  • Omega trying to comfort Crosshair in regards to his worsening mental state. She knows what's happening to him, and encourages him to resist the Mind Control.
Omega: I know what you're going to, but please, don't.
Crosshair: (dismissively) What do you know?
Omega: I know it's not your fault. You can't help it.
  • Omega mimicking Hunter's body language while they're imprisoned in the holding cell. She even sneaks little looks at him to make sure she's mimicking him correctly.
  • Omega manages to find Wrecker's Tooka doll, Lula, and gives it back to him once their ship gets clear of Kamino. He gets so overjoyed (though it's cut short by the fact he's wincing in pain over his medical treatment).

    Episode 2: Cut and Run
  • Omega and Wrecker passed out asleep near each other, the latter holding his tooka plush. Hunter then comments that Omega only got worn out due to fully inspecting every part of the ship out of simple childish curiosity.
  • Omega's excitement at experiencing something as simple as dirt for the first time. She's a fish out of water and she's full of excitement about finally exploring the world outside of Kamino.
  • Jek and Shaeeah's reunion with "Uncle Wrecker", in which the latter immediately glomps him.
  • Jek and Shaeeah teaching Omega how to have fun, due to the latter only knowing about work and training exercises, not even knowing how to play catch the ball and the point of it simply being fun. After catching on, all three begin playing together and Omega clearly experiences fun for the first time as a kid.
    • Omega looks to Hunter for permission before going off to join them, to which Hunter gives her a small smile and a reassuring nod.
  • Suu gives Hunter some valuable advice about taking care of children, telling him that kids will always find trouble as it's what they do. But, as parents and guardians, it's their job to protect them from it.
Suu: Children will always find ways of getting into trouble, Hunter. It's what they do. Protecting them is what we do.
  • The moment Cut brings up that he and his family need to get off world, Hunter immediately offers to help them with zero prompting.
  • As they escape Saleucami, Hunter and Omega have a heart-to-heart about her being there with the Bad Batch. Realizing that he himself has things to learn about caring for a young one such as Omega, he allows her to stay with them if she wishes to.
    • Omega gets a moment here as well. She had the chance to go off with the Lawquanes and be with a real family, people that can care for her and give her a simple yet happy life she deserves - something Hunter doesn't believe he can do. However, Omega doesn't care. She is happy to be with the crew and is more than willing to give up her chance to be with a more stable family because the Bad Batch is where she truly feels at home.

    Episode 3: Replacements
  • Hunter in this episode gets some heartwarming moments of his own in this episode, fully accepting his role as Omega's guardian:
    • When Wrecker instantly finishes his ration bar and demands more, Omega offers him hers. Hunter immediately confronts him about taking what little food they have for her, given that she doesn't even have a place to sleep, causing Wrecker to backpedal and leading to his own heartwarming moment later.
    • About to make a crash landing on the moon, Hunter's first instinct is to have Omega strapped into her chair.
    • Initially worried that Omega went on her own to confront the Ordo Moon Dragon for the capacitor, he changes his tone to that of being impressed that she was actually successful, and didn't even use the blaster she took from him.
    • While she's admiring her new room courtesy of Wrecker, Hunter openly accepts Omega as part of the squad.
  • Wrecker stops himself from panicking as the ship is crashing and (badly) acts like they're going to be fine when he realises that he's scaring Omega with his freak-out.
  • Wrecker turns the rear gunner station into a tiny yet acceptable room for Omega, complete with a colorful padded mat to sleep on, nice and warm bauble-lights, a view of the stars, and even his beloved tooka plush. Omega says it's perfect for her.
  • A member of the Elite Squad refuses to kill civilians on Crosshair's orders. It doesn't save them, and gets him killed too, but at least he tried.

    Episode 4: Cornered
  • Every member of the Bad Batch jumping to action when Omega goes missing, doing whatever they can to either find her or secure their escape once they do.
  • When Wrecker finds Omega, she's delighted and relieved to see him. He picks her up caringly and she hugs him, something she definitely needed after the stress of the action she'd been through.
    • Wrecker's protectiveness towards Omega when he tells Shand: 'You mess with the kid, you mess with me.'
  • Fennec Shand sparing enough forethought Omega's emotional state to tell her to "tuck and roll" instead of just dropping her. This happens far past the point where she needs to feign any kindness to placate her, suggesting this is likely genuine.
  • Similarly, despite the Sullustan repairman failing to keep the Bad Batch within his premises (and him clearly fearful for his failure), Fennec still chooses to pay him for his information/assistance. It helps to sell how, despite her being in a very unsavory industry, her Noble Demon qualities shine through.

    Episode 5: Rampage
  • After the last episode, Omega recites a list of rules the others have given her for her own safety, which she's proudly memorised. It really puts emphasis on them being a family looking out for each other.
  • There's a small moment in Cid's office where Echo stops Omega from touching a weapon on display in a very parental manner.
  • A small one, but Tech explains to Cid that the Batch left the Empire due to a "fundamental difference in ideology". When not controlled by inhibitor chips, clones can be decent human beings and oppose the Empire out of principle (and not just for self-preservation).
  • Cid sardonically referring to Omega as "the brains of the group", to which Wrecker gives her a gleeful high five.
  • Omega repainting her Clonetrooper doll to look like a Bad Batcher.
    • She later shows it off to the GNK droid that came along, who has now been (unofficially) adopted as a part of the crew.
  • Wrecker petting Muchi and calling her a 'good rancor' despite having fought her to exhaustion in the last scene.

    Episode 6: Decommissioned
  • Echo and the rest of the Bad Batch teaching Omega how to use her bow at the start of the episode.
    • Though she's a little more gruff about it, Cid gets in on the lesson and also gives Omega some solid advice.
  • Trace turning back from an opportunity to get away with the droid head when she realises Omega is in serious danger. Her intervention saved Omega's life and she's earnestly happy to have done it in response to Hunter thanking her.
  • Rafa affectionately patting R7 on the head, then putting a friendly hand on Wrecker's shoulder. Turns out naturally born humans and clones can get along too.
  • It turns out Ahsoka really did get through to Rafa and Trace about the importance of doing the right thing and helping others, as they promptly joined the fledgling Rebel Alliance upon the formation of the Empire.
  • Both Rafa and Trace have a little bonding moment with Omega when saying goodbye. Each of them have clearly taken a liking to her.
  • Hunter choosing to give Rafa and Trace the data they were meant to acquire, meaning they won't get paid by Cid for the job, simply because he knows the Martez sisters will use it for the right reasons.
  • R7-A7, the last of the astromech droids that helped Ahsoka survive Order 66, has been rebuilt and is helping the Martez sisters.

    Episode 7: Battle Scars

  • After each successful mission, Wrecker and Omega get cartons of Mantell Mix together. The fact that twenty cartons were on the bill for the Bad Batch for Cid’s place, implies that Wrecker and Omega have done this at least ten times.
  • Rex is back, and the Bad Batch are happy to see him. So much so that Wrecker hugs him, and states that Rex is one of the only regular clones they like.
  • Even though Rex just met Omega moments earlier, when he learns that the Bad Batch still have their control chips, and thus are a potential threat, he interposes himself between Omega and the rest of the squad, with his hand on his blaster just in case. Guess big brother instincts are shared among all Jango clones, not just the Batchers.
  • In a nice Call-Back to the second episode, Omega tells Hunter she's worried about the chip removal procedure they are all about to undergo, that it might cause major brain damage or even kill them, and she doesn't want to be left alone. Hunter puts a hand on her shoulder and reminds her that "You're stuck with us for the long run, remember?"
  • Omega refusing to leave Wrecker's side until he wakes up from the procedure.
  • Tech being happy to see Wrecker wake up, bearing the latter no ill will for having choked and thrown him across the room earlier.
  • After Wrecker’s inhibitor chip was removed after he briefly executed Order 66 on his squad, he immediately apologizes for his actions to Omega and for scaring her. She understands he couldn't help it and to top it off, she brings out Mantell Mix after completing the mission to “keep tradition.” What follows is Omega and Wrecker eating the Mantell Mix from her hands. Awwww.

    Episode 8: Reunion

  • Wrecker is teaching Omega how to disarm explosive ordnance since the scrapyard world they're currently on is full of live explosives. And like any good big brother, uses the opportunity to pull a prank on her which even she seems a little amused by.
  • Just like Rex before him, Hunter instinctively moves in front of Omega to shield her from danger, and pushes her into cover when Crosshair orders his troops to target her.
  • A very small instance for the villains, but after a firefight with the Bad Batch sends the roof crashing down, one of the Elite Squad helps their teammate out of the debris, showing a degree of comradery between them.
  • Every single Batcher doing their best to get a wounded Hunter back to their ship under fire. Coupled with Wrecker anxiously asking, 'Where's Omega?!'

    Episode 9: Bounty Lost

  • Wrecker hugging Omega once she's safely onboard the Marauder.
    • Followed by Omega nuzzling Hunter's waist. Despite him clearly being in pain from the sudden contact, he doesn't say anything.
  • Hunter promising Omega that no matter what Lama Su throws at them, he and the Batch will make sure she never gets forced to go back to Kamino.
  • The Reveal that Nala Se hired Fennec Shand to keep Omega safe in defiance of Lama Su's orders. When she learns that the Bad Batch has rescued Omega, she tells Shand that she believes Omega will be safe in their company.

    Episode 10: Common Ground
  • Wrecker carrying Omega on his shoulder and her feeding him some Mantell Mix.
  • Tech being open-minded enough to work with a former Separatist (even if pragmatism - making a living - is a significant part of it).
  • The Batch using only non-lethal munitions, not only on the clones but even on Captain Bragg. They may be hardened soldiers, but they aren't heartless killers. If there's a way to accomplish their objectives with minimal loss of life, they'll take it.
    • Also, these are their brainwashed brothers. No chance they'd kill them if they could avoid it.
  • Cid is dismissive and brash towards Omega at first, but by the time the Batch returns they're working together winning bets on game matches. She even stands up for her when Hunter disapproves and that he should be grateful her 'friend' paid off their debt with her winnings.
  • Despite having the most reason to hate the Separatists, Echo recognizes Senator Singh's genuine concern for his people, and advises Singh to 'live to fight another day'. He also refers to GS-8 as 'she' instead of 'it', in contrast to his earlier dismissiveness towards the droid.
  • Hunter eases up on his disapproval when he learns that Omega just wanted to be useful despite not going on the mission. He then challenges Omega to a match, betting if she wins they won't leave her behind anymore.
    • Not only that but it's implied that Hunter knows he'll lose to Omega, so he might just be humoring her.

    Episode 11: Devil's Deal
  • Despite having just met, Hera and Omega bond immediately over their shared love of flying and adventure.
    • Omega gives her a tour of their ship and says her favorite is the room Wrecker made for her in the rear gunner’s station.
  • Howser's appearance and demeanor serve as proof that there are "un-activated" clones left in the Galaxy and that they can be found even within the Imperial structure.
    • Such clones would have a much higher chance of escaping the Empire's grip and freeing their brothers from the chips.
    Episode 12: Rescue on Ryloth
  • After Hera sends a distress signal to the Havoc Marauder, Omega reveals she gave her their ship's frequency in case of emergencies. While the rest of the Batch are quite shocked at this, it speaks volumes about how quickly Omega and Hera became good friends that she even trusted her with such a secret.
  • When Hera questions how Omega can trust a man as sour as Hunter, she says it's because he's her brother, before clarifying that the rest of the Batch are as well. D'aaaw.
  • Howser pulls a Heel–Face Turn, betraying the Empire to help the Batch and Hera's family to escape after realising that what the Empire has him doing on Ryloth is wrong.
  • Omega and Hera sharing a hug as they say goodbye.
    Episode 13: Infested
  • Roland turns out to be Ruby’s owner and he is shown cuddling and doting on her throughout the episode.
  • Omega insisting they help Cid get her parlor back because for all her flaws she still helped them in the past when they needed it.
  • When the Pykes demand Omega as collateral whilst the rest of the Batch secure the spice, the other four immediately draw their blasters in her defense, with Hunter moving the girl behind him. Big Brother Instinct indeed.
  • Cid, in turn, personally joins Wrecker in retrieving the lost spice because she feels she owes it to Omega, who the Pykes are keeping as collateral.
  • Cid joining Omega in sticking up for Roland, even after he stole her parlor.

    Episode 14: War-Mantle
  • Realizing that the mission to recover Gregor is no longer a simple extraction, combined with their lack of reinforcements or intel on his status, Hunter and Tech prepare to go back to the ship and report to Rex. However, Echo remains firm on recovering him, citing that they did the same for him when he was on Skako Minor, and as long as a trooper is being held against his will, they have to at least try.
  • Even under heavy fire, Tech refuses to abandon Hunter until directly ordered to do so. Even then, he hesitates before accelerating the Havoc Marauder away, and hangs his head sadly upon hearing Omega's pleas to turn back for Hunter.
  • One for Rebels fans, Gregor has started laughing. It's a more subtle chuckle, the kind a soldier could get away with without much trouble, but literally the exact same rhythm. It's clearly the predecessor of the manic quirky demeanor he perfected later in life.

    Episode 15: Return to Kamino
  • Twisted as it may seem, Crosshair stating that he lured the rest of the Batch back to Kamino because he wants them all to be together again deserves a mention. Him also revealing that he had his chip removed proves that this is not just a trick of the brainwashing; he genuinely wants them to be a family again, even if it means surrendering themselves to evil and serving under the Empire.
    • And when they're attacked by over a dozen combat droids, Crosshair fights them alongside the rest of the Bad Batch. Even if it's just for a few minutes, The Squad is back together again, maybe for the last time.
  • Omega glomping Hunter in a hug after the team reunites with him. When he tries to apologise to her for inadvertently bringing her back to Kamino, she has absolutely none of it.
Hunter: Sorry, Omega. I know I promised you'd never have to come back here.
Omega: You did the same for me.
  • When it becomes clear that Crosshair has fully committed himself to the Empire, Hunter still refuses to kill him, instead stunning him and having Wrecker carry him out as they begin their escape from Tipoca City.

    Episode 16: Kamino Lost
  • Despite the fact that Crosshair spent much of the first season hunting the Batch down, he is ultimately the one to make one last save for Omega and AZI, even when he had nothing to gain from it. Goes to show that while he might've pledged his loyalty to the Empire, he's still a member of Clone Force 99 at heart… even if he doesn't want to admit it outright.
  • Omega's final parting words to Crosshair before leaving Kamino, which is also a Tearjerker.
Omega: You're still their brother, Crosshair. You're my brother too.

Season 2

    Episode 2: Ruins of War
  • The reason Omega was so insistent on retrieving the war chest's riches despite the heavy risks? She overheard Echo's pre-mission conversation with Hunter aboard the Marauder, and wanted to ensure that the Bad Batch could have a chance at a normal life.
  • Echo gets put in Hunter's pants as Omega's caretaker for this episode and he encourages her to give up on the war chest when she's so insistent. He forgives her when she apologizes for not acquiring any of it. When she expresses her sadness at the Batch having given up everything to rescue her from Kamino, Echo calmly reassures her.
Echo: We made the right choice, Omega. I'd do it all again.
  • Omega makes a friend in a local named Romar, who gives her a toy as a souvenir from this whole ordeal.
  • A brief moment, but during the firefighting, a Clone Trooper pushes his brother aside from large boulders bearing down on them. They seem to have some of their compassion left in them despite Order 66.
  • Tech doggedly going to back-up Echo and rescue Omega, despite Romar warning him that he can't move very fast with a broken leg. Tech brushes this off, saying: 'I can manage.'

    Episode 3: The Solitary Clone
  • Cody putting down his rifle and managing to successfully talk Governor Ames down by saying that he fully understands how the war has hurt so many and says he doesn't want any more bloodshed. He even gets Crosshair to lower his own rifle while doing so. Shame that Grotton and Crosshair ruin it...

    Episode 4: Faster
  • After Tay-0 gets run over, Tech steps up as Cid's racer without any hesitation - despite having never riot raced before and having had only one day to study riot racing.

    Episode 8: Truth and Consequences
  • Echo admitting to Omega that he's still a bit traumatized after what happened to him on Skako Minor and that his gratitude to the rest of the Batch for saving him is what led to him joining them (that and the fact that he was no longer considered a normal clone, much like the Batch).
  • Omega has grown as a fighter so much that the rest of the Batch completely trust her to act as Chuchi's bodyguard while they and Rex go after the information.
  • Officially, Omega is with Senator Chuchi so that she can act as an undercover bodyguard (seeing as how she, being a little girl, is the last person an Imperial would consider a threat). While they are on a mission, Senator Chuchi still takes the time to show Omega around the Senate building and explain to her what the Senate does. The friendship they form is very cute, as is Chuchi's constant reassurance to Omega that she's fighting to give all clones citizenship and rights.
  • Though they still get fooled by Palpatine into proceeding with the Stormtrooper program, the Senate is completely appalled and disgusted with Rampart's destruction of Kamino. Even the senators who were portrayed as antagonistic and were firmly on Rampart's side turn on him. It shows that even though the Senate has willingly surrendered much of its power to an fascist dictator, the galaxy still is full of good people who do not actually support Palpatine's evil deep down. It also foreshadows how the destruction of Alderaan will ultimately prove to be the Empire's undoing, proving Palpatine, Tarkin, and the rest wrong as the galaxy will slowly but surely side with the Rebellion - and even further down the line, will unite to stop Palpatine and the Final Order from taking over again.
  • Echo gently assures Omega that while he intends to leave the Bad Batch in order to aid Rex with his clone-saving mission, his departure from the squad won't be permanent.
    • The rest of the Batch wish Echo their best, fully understanding that his priorities differ from theirs and that this is something he has to do. The difference with their parting with Crosshair couldn't be more clear. Echo discussed it with them and made it clear he's not acting against them, but on behalf of their brothers who need help, and they part on good terms.

    Episode 9: The Crossing
  • Tech realising (with prompting from Hunter and Wrecker) that he hurt Omega's feelings and fixing his mistake. He initially dismisses Omega's distress over Echo leaving the squad. Later, however, he doesn't hesitate to jump down a crevasse after her and saves her from drowning. Then, in a heart to heart with Omega, he admits to her that 'I may process moments and thoughts differently, but it does not mean that I feel any less than you.'

    Episode 10: Retrieval
  • Once Mokko has been dealt with and the team returns to the now-fully repaired Marauder, Wrecker gives Gonky a huge bear hug.

    Episode 11: Metamorphosis
  • When Omega is distressed upon hearing the Zillo Beast clone ate the crew of the ship, Wrecker angrily tells Tech he's not helping and makes to comfort her.
  • Tech himself tries to put himself between Omega and the destruction of the ship.

    Episode 12: The Outpost
  • Crosshair shoves his disdain towards "Regs" aside when it comes to his treatment towards Mayday after the avalanche. Where the Crosshair of old would likely have been perfectly willing to ditch him, Crosshair in this episode chooses to help him survive and get back to the base, and begs Lieutenant Nolan to give Mayday medical aid once they return. While Mayday sadly doesn't make it, he made it substantially farther than he otherwise would have, and that was all Crosshair's doing.

    Episode 13: Pabu
  • Having heard that the Batch cut ties with Cid, Phee tells them to head to a place where she not only puts her artifacts but also where a lot of misplaced people have settled down after escaping the Clone Wars and the Empire's new policies, and with few resources, it's overlooked by the Empire. Phee gave the Batch a retirement plan where they could actually learn to live in peace and give Omega a chance to not just grow up, but also make friends with children her own age.
    • Phee lives up to her insistence that she's a "liberator of ancient wonders". Some of the artifacts she retrieves have no monetary value, but are significant for the refugees of Pabu.
  • Wrecker's child-like expression when he sees the dessert tray.
  • When Lyana invites Omega to come watch the sunset with her, Omega eagerly asks Hunter if she can go. Hunter, smiling like a proud father, simply tells her to go have fun.

    Episode 14: Tipping Point
  • Downplayed as she did torture Crosshair. But Crosshair stuns instead of kills Emerie at least partly because she is the only person in the facility who shows some level of kindness to him. Emerie also seems at least a little uncomfortable at seeing and hearing him being tortured, possibly due to Because You Were Nice to Me, and/or Even Evil Has Standards, or Everyone Has Standards.
  • Crosshair warning his brothers about the Empire hunting for Omega.
  • The Bad Batch is shown to have settled in on Pabu, to the point where Hunter is clearly having doubts about leaving once they've finished rebuilding.
  • Omega cheerfully greeting Echo upon his arrival, saying that she's missed him. After so long, the team is finally back together.

    Episode 16: Plan 99
  • While it's a massive Tear Jerker, Tech performing a Heroic Sacrifice to ensure the Bad Batch's escape from Eriadu is nothing short of selfless.
  • Despite everything he's done, the second Omega sees the unconscious Crosshair she runs over in concern. Omega's an All-Loving Hero, through and through.

Season 3

    Episode 1: Confined
  • While imprisoned in Mount Tantiss, Omega builds a doll in the likeness of the one gifted to her by Wrecker. When the doll is found during a surprise inspection and is confiscated by Emerie per the rule that personal items are forbidden, Emerie states that she would dispose of it, but winds up going back on her word and returning it to Omega by the episode's end.

    Episode 2: Paths Unknown
  • While Hunter and Wrecker were unable to find and rescue Omega in this episode, they were able to save three clone cadets who had been abandoned by the Empire. They even take them to Pabu where they can start new lives.

    Episode 4: A Different Approach
  • The episode concludes with Omega finally reuniting with Wrecker and Hunter in an emotional Big Damn Reunion, competing with the young clone audibly sounding like she's on the verge of shedding Tears of Joy as she embraces her brothers.

    Episode 5: The Return
  • Echo is finally back and Omega runs right into his arms for a big hug.
  • Crosshair, despite his friction with Hunter, tells Omega not to hold it against him for wanting her to stay behind from a mission, saying it's only because he cares about her.
  • Wrecker reveals all this time they kept Crosshair's old armor, as it never felt right to get rid of it.
  • Crosshair comes across several discarded Clone Trooper helmets on the floor — including the one once belonging to Mayday. He immediately starts picking them up and puts them up on display as a silent memorial.
    • Hunter quietly walks into the room, clearly planning to confront Crosshair. However, once he sees what Crosshair is doing. Hunter silently leaves, clearly wishing to give his brother some time to grieve.
  • Hunter and Crosshair burying the hatchet at the end of the episode. Expressing regret for his actions while with the Empire, Hunter sympathizes with Crosshair and admits he's made mistakes of his own, and all they can do is keep trying to be better in spite of it.
    • After Hunter and Crosshair escape from the wyrm, Wrecker runs up to them and hugs them both.
  • After so long, Crosshair is finally back on the team—If only Tech were there to see it…

    Episode 7: Extraction
  • While still initially hostile, Howzer and Crosshair manage to reconcile their differences. It starts when Howzer realizes how protective Crosshair is of Omega, which was very different from his behavior on Ryloth. The pair then bond over their shared disillusionment with the Empire's cruel treatment of them.
    • This culminates in Howzer being the one to save Crosshair from the clone assassin, who nearly suffocated Crosshair while attempting to drown him.

    Episode 8: Bad Territory
  • Though it's also to keep her from danger, Hunter asking Omega to try and convince Crosshair to get his hand checked out.
  • Omega teaching Crosshair meditation. Its clear Crosshair is rather uncomfortable, but Omega's kindness and patience eventually appears to win him over.

    Episode 9: Harbinger
  • Crosshair has become fully integrated into the community of Pabu; the people even seem to genuinely like him.
  • Omega asking Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair to give Ventress a chance. When Crosshair claims she's being naive, Omega manages to give him pause when she points out that she never lost faith in him.
Omega: Things are different now, people can change.
    Crosshair: You're being naive.
Omega: I never gave up on you, did I?
Crosshair: (clearly startled by her words, he can't think of anything to say)
  • Following the encounter with the sea monster, it's Crosshair who exits the Marauder to make sure Omega is safely brought on board ship. He even goes so far as to help Ventress as well.

Episode 11: Point of No Return
  • Seeing the assault on Pabu, Omega decides to willingly surrender to X-2 to spare them from any further violence. She also deems it their best shot at trying to find Tantiss since nothing has worked. The Batch may not be part of the nascent rebellion, but Omega shows she has the heart of a rebel, correctly deducing she must use this opportunity for the potential betterment of their brothers even if it means giving herself up in the process. In doing so, she follows the late Tech's example of sacrifice and courage.

    Episode 12: Juggernaut
  • Crosshair admits he's known of a potential way to find Tantiss in the form of the imprisoned Rampart, and confesses he didn't speak up before because he's afraid of returning and possibly being recaptured. In response, Hunter and Wrecker don't hold it against him upon realizing how traumatized Crosshair was by his time there.
  • Phee finally meets Crosshair and reveals that she knows of him because Tech told her about him, and evidently not in a negative light. The fact Tech told Phee about this offscreen also suggests that perhaps their relationship was a bit warmer behind the scenes than we thought.

Episode 15: The Cavalry Has Arrived
  • Omega not only helps the children escape captivity but also unleashes the tortured Zillo Beast so it can wreak havoc to pay back its' tormentors.
    • Echo realizes that the events on Tantiss are Omega's handiwork since she learned from his battle tactics, and is very proud of her. Later, the rest of the Batch has an affectionate, amused reaction to seeing the Zillo Beast rampaging, knowing their girl was behind it.
  • After Jax confesses to having a fear of heights and mentioned how he wouldn't be a good solider because of it, Omega tells him that one of her brothers, Wrecker, shares the same fear and he's one of the best soliders she knows.
  • Emerie is the one who agrees to escort the children to safety, giving Omega her word that she'll keep them safe.
  • Echo agrees to let Omega join him during the chaos of Tantiss, fully trusting her and knowing she's completely capable of taking care of herself and being a vital asset to the mission.
  • Omega and Echo manage to free all of Tantiss's prisoners, the clones all thanking their liberators. Echo manages to rally all of the prisoners to take up arms to help rescue the Bad Batch despite Echo assuring them they have no obligation to given what they've been forced to endure. Echo gives a rallying speech that would make his old comrade Fives proud.
  • Hunter helps Crosshair, who has lost his hand, make the critical shot needed to turn the tables on Hemlock. Afterwards, Omega finally breaks down in happy tears out of relief and runs to the two men — and gives a massive bear hug to Crosshair first to thank him. Crosshair is shocked, but very moved and returns the hug with gusto once he gets over it.
  • All the surviving freed prisoners of Tantiss are shown taking refuge on Pabu. The children will eventually be reunited with their parents, and Emerie agrees to join Echo in going to Chuchi to provide all Imperial intel she can supply to continue making amends for her past. Echo gives Emerie a warm smile, accepting her as a trustworthy ally.
  • Hunter says the Batch has fought enough battles for a lifetime. The final group shot of the Bad Batch: Hunter, Omega leaning and sleeping on him, Batcher dozing next to them, and Wrecker and Crosshairs seated nearby — shows a team accomplished their mission and earned for themselves a hard-won peace.
  • The epilogue shows that, many years later, the Batch truly have been able to enjoy their victory, living to a ripe old age in peace. Hunter is shown having grown older but his senses are still sharp, and he approaches a now adult Omega who is about to leave to enlist in the Rebel Alliance. Though he admits he doesn't want her to go, Hunter gives Omega his blessing and says that while he, Wrecker, and Crosshair will stay retired, they will always be there for her. If this wasn't enough, we get this exchange.
Omega: I've made my choice, Hunter. I want to do more.
Hunter: And we want to keep you safe.
Omega: You have. But I'm not a kid anymore. You don't have to worry about me.
Hunter: You're our kid, Omega. You always will be.
  • And off Omega goes, ready to join the fight for the galaxy's freedom. On her ship's dashboard, she keeps Tech's glasses, a reminder of her late mentor and other father figure. And Gonky accompanies her too!
  • It's heavily implied either Rex or Hera invited her. She'll especially be happy to get flying lessons from the latter like she always dreamed.
  • The final scene has Hunter watch Omega leave with pride, assuring Batcher she'll be okay.
