  • Walking Kruglov back to the Ecologist's bunker, fighting back mutants, zombies, and mercenaries along the way, and then taking him to take measurements. If you did this after going to the Dark Valley and then the Cordon, it's possible that you failed to keep the rookies at the village alive against the merc attack. Pulling a mobile You Shall Not Pass! against anything the Zone can throw at Kruglov is quite possibly one of the most heartwarming moments of the game.
    • Bonus points if you kept everyone alive at the rookie village. You haven't forgotten how you started out, now have you? Barely anything to your name, saved by a more experienced Loner. Sounds familiar.
  • Generally, settlements and safe areas, due to the attitude of people in it. The loners are just getting together, sitting down, chatting, etc. Life in the Zone is tough and can be unfair, but despite this, they're still human.
  • In Call of Pripyat, a sidequest can wind up with you (wrongly) accusing Nimble of selling you a stolen weapon. You can ask Cardan about it, and the man speaks glowingly of Nimble, saying that he helped Cardan set up his shop, without charging him at all for the work or supplies.
  • If you decide to help the MUCH more kinder (sure, there's a few rotten apples here and there, such as Tuna for instance, but most of the time they're quite friendly) Loner stalkers in CoP against the bandit scum, you'll achieve the "A Friend of Stalkers" achievement, which not only gives you discounts toward both Medics in Zaton and Jupiter, significantly improves your rep among Loner stalkers, but also, occasionally, spawns a friendly group of Loner Stalkers that will gladly assist you in any major outdoor firefights. A true brotherhood of Stalkers.
