Heartwarming moments in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
SPOILERS are off, as per policy!
- The ending where Tails saves Sonic from his fall.
- Sonic being the only person who actually finds Tails good and not bad; apparently even the developers cried about Tails' backstory.
- Related to the above, the Sonic Origins introduction cutscene for this game shows how Sonic and Tails met - Tails was being bullied because of his twin tails. Sonic schools the bullies with style, and as Tails chases after him, he learns to use his tails as a propeller, and with encouragement from Sonic, as makeshift helicopter rotors. All without a single line of dialogue.
