• During their outing, Knuckles reveals that he has to return the books to the library that Maddie rented. What books did she rent? "Parenting Adopted Children," "The Blended Family," and "North American Mammals." Showing that both Tom and Maddie are taking being parents to Team Sonic seriously and learning how to raise them properly.
• Knuckles getting upset that the “sacred tomes” were destroyed and want justice not just for them but for Maddie's honor.
• Taking Tails' advice, Sonic asks Unit what they want, and the Badnik reveals they want to write poems. While they still want to rule the world, they prefer to do so through poetry.
• Sonic and Tails sitting down and listening to Unit poems for what assumed hours and didn’t look too bothered by it
• Even though Knuckles attacks them, Unit doesn’t hold a grudge against Team Sonic and agrees that his poem needs some work.
• Sonic, after some puppy dog eyes from Tails, agrees to take Unit in so as long as Tails keep an eye on them.
