Heartwarming / Scooby-Doo! Music of the Vampire

Go To

  • The movie begins with the gang in the middle of another mystery, which has come on the tail of a string of others. When Velma doesn't get a response after finishing The Summation, she looks over to see the others still dealing with the fallout: Shaggy and Scooby haven't come around from their faint; Fred is struggling to free himself from his trapping materials, and Daphne is climbing the wall trying to get away from a cockroach. Velma immediately declares that they all need a vacation and makes plans for one.
  • Overall, there are lots of small moments between characters who don't interact as often - Shaggy and Daphne, Fred and Velma, or Velma and Daphne. The opening song sets the tone for the whole film. The whole team is being silly together, with the mystery-lovers just as happy as Shaggy and Scooby about taking a real vacation.
    • The rest of the gang doesn't like Daphne's habit of playing showtunes while they're driving, but they quickly get into it when she insists, turning the first instrumental into a playful song about their hopes that this vacation doesn't turn into another Busman's Holiday.
    • Shaggy makes the mistake of looking down while Velma is driving over a bridge and makes himself sick...which Fred quickly solves by passing back some food.
  • The whole gang grab stakes and advance on Valdronya when he threatens Daphne. Yes, he may be eight feet tall and terrifying, but you don't touch one of them and get away with it.
  • Scooby and Shaggy refusing to abandon each other and then, after a reuniting Meadow Run, sing about their friendship for several minutes. And then get lost in a swamp, because of course they do.
You are the one who keeps me at ease,
Giving me love and occasional fleas—(Sorry!)
