From the way it's written, it's very easy to see it as Sonja's Love Epiphany.
• Aden's final meeting with the Goblin Captain, who begs for forgiveness for kickstarting the plot by breaking the seal on the Earth Shrine and stating he intends to return to his hometown to make it a better place. Aden gives him a name and the Captain attempts to disband his crew, but they refuse to leave him.
• The thoughts and prayers of Aden's friends giving him his Heroic Second Wind prior to the final battle, allowing him to stand back up after the Masked Man's One-Hit Kill attack.
