Heartwarming / Pagten

• Pagten itself. The tool that drives back the cold witch is not a weapon or even really a tool. It's a pair of hands holding each other in friendship
• Malte saving Lyda from succumbing to the effects of the flowers during the first test by telling her how much her friendship means to him.
• Malte apologizing to Karla for missing her piano performance at school in one episode, because he was following Gibbus and discovered that he had been talking to Iselin disguised as Aris. As he says that he wanted to hear Karla play, she excitedly offers to play for him on her keyboard.
• Earlier in the same episode, Lyda forgiving Malte for what happened during their failed attempt to obtain Iselin's ice stones, after he helps expose how Iselin had tricked Gibbus while disguised as Aris.
• Malte, Lyda and Gibbus finally managing to rescue Viji from Iselin, and Malte following her home, and Viji reuniting with her adoptive parents.
• In the episode after being freed from Iselin, Viji goes down to the basement to look for something, and comes across several copies of the fliers that her parents had put up around town after her disappearance. Finally realizing how much her adoptive parents care about her, Viji hugs her adoptive mother and promises that she will never run away from home again.
• Viji helping Malte and Lyda pass the third test, which in the process restores the magical place the tests were in to normal, after it had been damaged from Rune using too much of Iselin's magic dust to cheat at the second test when he did it with Gibbus as part of Iselin's plan.
• The relationship that gradually develops between Helle and Jens throughout the story is really cute. He starts off as one of the few adults in the story to take Helle seriously and supporting her, with the two gradually growing closer over the course of the show. He continues to be patient and supportive towards her even as she keeps letting her nerves get to her at the idea of actually going out with him or spending Christmas with him. In the final episode, some advice from Malte leads Helle to muster up the courage to go see him and presumably take him up on his offer to spend Christmas together.
