• In the first game, when Luffy beats Akainu, Ace's spirit is backing him up.

• After a ceasefire between the Marines and Straw Hat/Whitebeard alliance is called, Garp chooses to spend time bonding with Luffy rather than return to Marineford to prepare for the final battle with Teach.

• During the Marineford Arc, Whitebeard can will himself back to sanity after being controlled by the Fog Dials. He says that it's the voice of his sons that woke him up.
