  • The band's official Tribute to Don Joyce as published on the KFPA website definitely qualifies, as do the comments.
  • True False and The World Will Decide contain a lot of material that was made by Don Joyce, Ian Allen, and Richard Lyons before they died. Negativland did this to make it feel like Don and Richard were still a part of Negativland despite their deaths.
Don also happens to be very much a part of our current live stage show, even though he's dead! We saw no reason to let that get in the way.
  • On sending Don's ashes out to the fans with The Chopping Channel album:
It was a leap of faith that committed fans would recognize this as the gift that it is, and treat the reality of it with a bit of respect. (From KQED interview about ''The Chopping Channel'', Nov. 3, 2016.)
  • On the day of Lyons' death April 19, 2016, one of the hospice workers brought a guitar and gently sang the "Nesbitt's Lime Soda" song with him. (They also sang "Happy Birthday", not only because it really was Richard's birthday but because the song had recently been freed of copyright restrictions.)
