My Hero SCP

     Chapter 1: The Invincible Boy
  • Izuku and Katsuki's friendship. Unlike in canon, they remain friends from the beginning, and because of that, Katsuki Took a Level in Kindness, comforting a Quirkless kid he would have dismissed originally.
  • The teachers at Aldera seem to be far more competent than in canon. Not only does the homeroom teacher directly address Izuku regarding the qualifications of a hero, but he also praises him for his insightful answer. He also notes that both Izuku and Katsuki have the best chance of getting into UA High. It may just be because Izuku has a Quirk in this story, but considering Katsuki was the biggest bully in canon...
  • Izuku's excitement as a boy when he manifests Regeneration, and his mother Inko's joy when her son gains a Quirk that not only ensures he can be a hero but will prevent him from ever being hurt physically.

Chapter 2: Dawn of a Hero
  • Izuku's talk with Toshi is a lot more heartfelt. Not only is Toshi not dismissive of Quirkless people becoming heroes, but when he hears about Izuku's Regeneration he believes Izuku would make a great hero.
  • When they realize the bottle with the sludge villain got knocked off All Might, he doesn't blame Izuku clinging onto him, but simply calls it an accident that needs to be cleaned up.
  • Before Izuku made his move on the sludge villain, Foresight was willing to rush in there to extract Bakugo before the villain got to him, a far cry from everyone just standing around during canon.
  • Both Katsuki and Izuku get praised for their bravery during the incident, unlike in canon where Izuku was berated for his recklessness.

     Chapter 3: Training Days
  • The fact that Toshi felt Katsuki was trustworthy enough to be let in on the secret of One For All, just because he and Izuku are such good friends.
  • Izuku's conversation with Ochaco. And yes, this time he has an actual conversation with her.
  • Katsuki standing up for Izuku when Tenya tries to berate him for mumbling during orientation.

     Chapter 4: The Practical Exam
  • Nezu notes that Katsuki seems to have the heart of hero just like Izuku, going for the zero-pointer, even knowing that it doesn't add to his score, just to stop it from rampaging and possibly hurting someone.
  • Tenya makes a heartfelt apology to Izuku following the exam, having come to understand Izuku and even respect him.
  • As the recording of the practical exam shows, Izuku going out of his way to help the other examinees inspired some to do the same, regardless of whether or not it got them points (though it likely did).

Chapter 5: First Day at UA
  • Unlike in canon, Katsuki manages to get 60 rescue points during the practical exam, showing just how much Character Development he's gone through.
  • During a conversation between Junko and Gran Torino, it's revealed that Junko and Toshi are actually dating, showing that Toshi is actually able to have a normal life in this world outside of being the Symbol of Peace.
  • For all the darkness Torino must have seen in his time as a hero, he still shows a healthy level of idealism, as he's confident the situation with All For One can be resolved in their favor.
  • It's a small moment, but Koji actually replies verbally during Aizawa's role call, showing much more confidence than in canon at this point.
  • Despite Aizawa's habit of expelling students who lack potential or hope to coast by on fame or powerful Quirks alone, some of those students still became heroes at other schools. And they even stated that the main reason was that they learned from their failures after Aizawa expelled them, showing his method can work.

Chapter 6: Into the Mind of a Villain
  • When Shoto shows suspicion of why someone as strong as Izuku didn't get a recommendation, Katsuki steps in to defend his friend's decision.
  • Despite winding up in third place right behind Shoto, Katsuki simply takes it to mean he needs to improve, a far cry from his attitude in canon.
  • Aizawa notes to All Might that he does believe his new class has great potential, and also praises Izuku's own talents during the Quirk Assessment Test.
  • Unlike in canon, it's revealed that Katsuki calling Izuku "Deku" isn't irony, but rather a shortening of the word "dekiru".
  • Not only do Ochaco and Tenya join Katsuki and Izuku as friends, but Eijiro and Fumikage soon join then as well.

Chapter 7: Unstoppable Force, Immovable Object
  • Despite having been friends for years, or perhaps because of it, Izuku and Katsuki don't hold back in their mock battle, giving it everything they have while trying new tricks in order to improve.
  • Throughout the simulation, Katsuki actually averts Poor Communication Kills, regularly contacting Tenya to update him on the situation while giving out helpful advice to deal with Ochaco.
  • During the flashback, Katsuki finding out that Izuku has a strong healing Quirk changes his mind about the so-called useless boy, reinvigorating their friendship as he actually accepts Izuku's help out of the ravine he fell into.
  • While also darkly humorous, it says something about how much trust All Might has in Katsuki and Izuku that he doesn't try to stop the former's grenade-based explosion, believing both he and Izuku know what they're doing.
  • Izuku and Ochaco also show great communication, winning the mock battle and proving to All Might that his decision to name Izuku as his successor was the right one.

Chapter 8: Class 1-A, This is the Starting Line
  • Just the entire class gushing at how cool the mock battle between Izuku, Ochaco, Katsuki, and Tenya was. To the point that it inspires them to give it their all just to keep up.
  • A small one, but Shoto actually works with Mezo during his mock battle, letting him do more than just locate the weapon and opponents.
  • Izuku and Katsuki decide to let their friends know about One For All, trusting them enough to keep the secret.

     Chapter 9: The Class Representative
  • The fact that Izuku is trusted enough in the class to garner five votes for class representative, without even voting for himself (he had actually voted for Tenya).
  • There's some early signs of comradery between Momo and Shoto when it's revealed they voted for each other.
  • Katsuki lets Tenya know he doesn't care that he's rich, since both Momo and Shoto are rich too.
  • Agent of J's history with Miss J shows just as much heartwarming as SCP canon, only this time they spent way more time together since Miss J's CD in this universe can be played on any computer system with a disk drive.
  • Just the fact that Junko was willing to put off her date with Toshi to let him help someone in need, and even get in on the rescue alongside him. It just shows how healthy their relationship is.

     Chapter 10: Proving Yourself
  • Izuku assures Eijiro that his Quirk doesn't need to be flashy for him to be a hero. After all, he was chosen for UA regardless of how his Quirk functions.

     Chapter 11: Life Isn't a Game
  • Overall the class shows solid communication compared to canon, and much different tactics are discussed to make things easier to deal with the legion of villains trying to kill them.
  • Despite being the top dog in terms of villains, Crimson Death shows that he prefers a world where evil and good are in balance, believing neither can exist without the other. You rarely see such noble ideology from bad guys.

Chapter 12: The Meaning of Plus Ultra
  • All Might's glowing praise for his students with how easily they deconstructed the proto-League of Villains. He especially notes how easily Izuku was able to practically disarm Shigaraki once he had a good idea how his Quirk functioned.

     Chapter 13: The Day
  • Junko starts calling Izuku by a endearing nickname of her own, Midorang. She explains it's because of his green color scheme and the fact that his Quirk lets him "bounce back like a boomerang".
  • All Might praises Izuku for how well he handled Shigaraki, including only using just enough strength to break the villain's fingers, rather than tear them off.
  • Manipulations aside, it does seem like Sliming Sadist has Shigaraki's best interests at heart when taking him on as a student instead of leaving him to All For One. Even Gustav admits it's best for Shigaraki's training as a villain.
  • Inspector Tsukauchi makes no bones about the fact that he's impressed with how the students handled the incident. His opinion is that Class 1-A has a bright future ahead as true heroes.

Chapter 14: My Reason to be a Hero
  • Serpenshia praises Katsuki for only using enough force in his explosion to disable the gun, rather destroy it.
  • Torino finds himself looking forward to seeing how Izuku will do in the sports festival, excited to see how the ninth generation of One For All proves himself. He's also impressed that Izuku has enough mastery that he won't need Torino's tutoring to get it to work.
  • When Inko learns about Izuku's actions during the USJ, and just how terrified he was of how strong he could be, she's grateful that for all Izuku's strength he hasn't changed internally.
  • Junko decides she wants to start investing in Ochaco's future a little more, offering to accept her as an intern if she can make it far enough in the sports festival.

Chapter 15: UA Sports Festival, Let the Games Begin
  • When Hitoshi fake-derides Class 1-A hoping to rile them up, Katsuki steps in for the whole class, declaring them all worthy of the title of hero. Hitoshi is suitably impressed and introduces himself.
  • With Izuku as the class valedictorian, he's able to give a much more meaningful speech that moves the entire crowd and all the students from each class, with Hitoshi reevaluating why he wants to be a hero.

Chapter 16: Race to the Finish
  • Both Izuku's and Katsuki's moms are both able to make it to the stadium, letting them see their sons dominate the festival live. Naturally they couldn't be prouder.
  • Unlike in canon, Izuku's first place finish in the obstacle race feels earned, as he looks at the cheering crowd, including All Might applauding and Inko holding up a poster praising him. He returns the sentiment with a triumphant fist raised to the sky and a great cheer.
  • Heck, the business course is already talking amongst themselves about how marketable Izuku would be as a hero, showing they already see him as having potential.
  • A listing of all the students who passed the obstacle race shows Mei's not the only one from her class who made it. Another student named Mayumi Goto also reached the top 42, showing Mei won't be alone going into the later rounds.
  • Izuku makes it clear that he doesn't just want to win. He wants to push Shoto to be at his very best, and saving him from himself.

Chapter 17: Cavalry Battle and a New Power
  • Funny as it is that it happened instantly, the main group of four friends showing solidarity in teaming up immediately is just heartwarming in itself.
  • Despite not getting the teams they wanted, Eijiro and Mei still get teams that work for them, with Mei getting on the same team as Shoto and Eijiro teaming up with Fumikage.
  • Mayumi apparently offered to help Class 1-B get noticed and passed out copies of the Gyrfalcon to all of them... Except Monoma, who she deliberately left out because she felt he was bringing the class down.
  • Mayumi exclaims that she's fine being a supporter or sidekick, believing that's the best place for her and that she can still inspire others even from a support position.

Chapter 18: The Fight for Ten Million Points
  • When Fumikage sees Blackwhip's defense is too strong for Dark Shadow to penetrate, he has nothing but praise for how skilled Izuku has gotten in its use in so short a time.
  • Shoto is grateful to Momo for pulling their team back from the brink of defeat, and notes how cute she looks when she blushes.
  • This time around Team Midoriya doesn't lose the Ten Million point headband, meaning Izuku and his friends wind up squarely in first place. Their joy at this is quite evident.
  • Endeavor had made sure to confess what happened between himself, Rei, and Shoto truthfully (unknowingly ruining Dabi's plans further down the line) and was willing to build his reputation from the ground up. Even then, he realizes not everything can be fixed just by a simple confession.
  • All Might reveals that he and Endeavor used to be in Gran Torino's agency together. Seems the old codger was able to train All Might for more than a year. But more to the point, it leaves Endeavor willing to catch up after such a long time.
  • Endeavor is known to have some high standards when it comes to hero work. So it says something that even he is impressed by Izuku, to the point where Endeavor feels Izuku can succeed in getting through to Shoto where he failed.

Chapter 19: What It Means to Have Everything
  • In general, Shoto seems to have a much better idea of his family situation, showing that for all Endeavor's fears he was able to get Shoto to understand something regarding the truth.
  • Katsuki's thoughts regarding Izuku's declaration of war to Shoto shows he does believe the "rec boy" has what it takes to be a hero, if only he would stop half-assing it with his Quirk.
  • Izuku sending analyses to Aizawa and the other underground heroes convinced Aizawa to start dating Ms. Joke, a revelation that startles and impresses Present Mic.
  • As Izuku notes, Itsuka may just return Katuski's sudden crush on her.
  • Seeing themselves at opposite ends of the bracket, Izuku and Katsuki make a promise to meet in the final round.
  • That Hitoshi is still able to press Izuku's Berserk Button regarding Mashirao dropping out of the tournament shows Izuku's still sees all his classmates as True Companions.

     Chapter 20: Only One Weakness
  • Endeavor's thoughts regarding the UA Entrance Exam shows he feels that it has some flaws in only catering to the strong, showing he doesn't believe strength alone makes a hero.
  • Both Izuku and a number of heroes in the stands praise Hitoshi's Quirk for how useful it can be to a hero, despite being a "villainous" superpower.
  • When Izuku explains that Class 1-A is actually held to a higher standard, and that a student being stuck-up would only convince Aizawa to expel them, Hitoshi starts to see Izuku as a kindred spirit.
  • Both Nezu and Vlad King agree that Hitoshi would be a better fit for the hero course than Monoma.
  • Endeavor makes an earnest attempt to reconcile with Shoto, stating that not only does Shoto's fire belong to him, but so does his ice. Neither can be said to belong to his parents. Unfortunately Shoto brushes him off, still misunderstanding what Enji truly wants from his son, but at least he's trying.
  • Katsuki doesn't think Shoto having emotional turmoil makes him weak, thinking that a hero is allowed to be emotionally hurt. What makes Shoto weak is that he stews in it of his volition.

     Chapter 21: First Round Brackets
  • Just the fact that Denki actually has a cute girl like Mayumi crushing on him. Guess he must be doing something right.
  • Mei gets so moved by her fight actually getting the company heads talking positively that she gives Tenya a Smooch of Victory.
  • Eijiro notes that Shoto started calling Momo by her first name. The ship is in the harbor, people.
  • After Momo gets curb-stomped by Fumikage, Foresight notes that she saw it coming and makes plans to help bolster Momo's confidence.

     Chapter 22: Fight On, Uraraka
  • When Ochaco asks why Katsuki chose to be a hero if he likes fighting so much, Katsuki admits that at first he considered just becoming a prize fighter. It was Izuku who inspired him to be a hero by saying how useful his explosions could be for getting to civilians trapped in rubble or vehicles.
  • Katsuki's declaration that he wants to be a hero who can prove that any Quirk can be used to rescue people gets Mirko's attention.
  • Endeavor doesn't just encourage Katsuki, but Ochaco as well, calling their fight a contest of equals.
  • Despite Ochaco losing the fight, she still wins the crowd's hearts, Junko makes good on her promise, and Izuku gives her a congratulatory hug.
  • Despite Tetsutetsu losing to Eijiro in an arm-wrestling contest to decide who moves on, he holds no grudges and accepts Eijiro's help off the ground.

     Chapter 23: Fan the Flames
  • Shoto starts remembering happier memories with his mother Rei, with her encouraging him to be his own hero. Best of all, it started from Izuku's Pre-Asskicking One-Liner from the previous chapter.
  • A random hero watching the fight wonders how Izuku never got a UA recommendation, even stating he would have sent one in himself had he known about the kid.
  • Once Shoto is able to unlock his ability to use his fire once more, he wonders if Izuku is a fool for helping an opponent. Izuku points out that he wasn't helping an opponent... He was saving a person in need.
  • Endeavor looks on in pride at the fight, noting how Shoto is more than his son. He's Rei's son as well, making for a power that belongs only to Shoto.
  • As Shigaraki and Sliming Sadist are watching the sports festival, Shigaraki finds himself seeing Sliming Sadist as a better father figure than All For One.

     Chapter 24: Ida's Brother, the Semi-Finals
  • Endeavor actually took the time to arrange for Rei to see her son's fight, hoping the sight of him growing into a hero on his own terms would help her mental state.
  • Enji and Shoto actually have a heartfelt conversation, with Enji even admitting he shouldn't have referred to Shoto as just a 'masterpiece', and that Shoto is actually the best son a father could ask for. Shoto actually takes that to heart.
  • The entire class praising Izuku for his victory over Shoto, each in their own manner. All Might also has his own words of praise for Izuku helping Shoto overcome his mental block.
  • Inko and Mitsuki get excited over the fact that their sons made it all the way to the finals, about to face off against each other.

     Chapter 25: Midoriya vs Bakugo
  • Hisashi shows as much support for Izuku's hero career as Inko does, creating a special high-calorie candy that Izuku can ingest to fuel his Quirk.
  • Katsuki is clearly aware of his own temper, as Aizawa notes that he's been regularly seeing Hound Dog for therapy, showing great character in knowing himself.
  • Itsuka definitely shows signs of returning Katsuki's crush, actually blushing at how strong he is.
  • Katsuki still wins the sports festival, but he actually feels like he's earned it with his close victory over Izuku, cheering to the crowd in excitement.
  • Ida manages to get ahold of his brother after Tensei is attacked by Stain. Their conversation gives Tenya a much-needed confidence boost, letting him defeat Fumikage for third place.
  • As All Might hands out the medals, he praises Tenya, Izuku, and Katsuki for their great effort. He even finishes off the ceremony with an ACTUAL Plus Ultra, as the crowd expects.
  • We get to meet Depestilous, and it's clear that his plague doctor getup is only Kayfabe, as he's not only a genuine hero, but a skilled doctor with the help of his Quirk.
  • Tensei is well enough to speak properly with Tenya, explaining the reason for his retirement. Tenya agrees to take up the mantel of Ingenium, but on his own terms just like Izuku does.
  • Enji's efforts to help Rei's mental state work, and she's able to reconcile with Shoto.
  • We actually get to see Hisashi Midoriya during the celebration feast, showing he does return home regularly.

     Chapter 26: Peace Sign
  • When Izuku meets up with Tenya, the man's mood is much brighter than canon, showing he's not intent on revenge against Stain.
  • Shoto notes that everyone he met on the train to school called him by name when they recognized him, rather than simply calling him "Endeavor's son". The joy on his face, subdued as it is, is quite evident.
  • Many of the students have different names that show just how different this world is:
    • Yuga choosing to be called Captain Sparkle. (As we later learn, he's not the UA mole this time, and he was born with his Quirk. He doesn't need someone to stop him from twinkling since he can do so himself.)
    • Mina goes with Alien Queen. (Midnight isn't around to veto the name, so Mina is able to live out her dream of kayfabing as a glamorous alien hero.)
    • Tenya proudly chooses the name Ingenium. (Thanks to his heartfelt talk with his brother, Tenya now has the confidence he needs to take up his mantel.)
    • From Class 1-B, Kosei goes with Exosphere. (It's not known why he didn't choose a code name in canon, but perhaps the relief of not having to deal with Monoma let him focus more.)
    • Shoto actually chooses a code name, Freezerburn. (Reconciling with both his parents and being recognized as his own self inspired Shoto to have a hero identity.)
    • Katsuki picks the name Dynamite. (He learns on his own that his old idea of going by "King Explosion Murder" is too violent sounding, so he decides to choose a name more fitting of a hero.)
    • Despite not having expected to get into the hero course, Hitoshi still manages to find a name that suits him... Mindblank.
    • Much like canon, Izuku takes a nickname he was given and makes it his hero identity. But this time, instead of "Deku" he chooses the more powerful sounding name given to him by Junko. Introducing the Invincible Hero, Midorang.
  • Several of the students wind up with different internships. In particular, Izuku chooses Regenizard, Ochaco gets her internship with Endo Hound, and Katsuki decides to go with Mirko. The biggest change is Tenya, who chooses to intern with Swift Sculpt so that he can improve himself, rather than choose a hero close to Hosu hoping to seek out Stain. He's definitely showing some serious strength of character with that choice.

Chapter 27: The American Hero, Regenizard
  • It turns out Regenizard is a long-time friend of All Might's, and the one who inspired him to train in America.
  • Mechacain takes up the role of mentor for Eijiro and Tetsutetsu, and unlike Fourth Kind in canon he actually intends for them to learn something.
  • Foresight puts her inability to turn off her Quirk to good use by helping people overcome their futures via a psychic helpline. She intends to do the same with Momo by helping her avoid the canon terror she gets during the final exam.
  • Swampanne is living a much better life than SCP-811. Sure she still looks like something that crawled out of a swamp, but at least she's a Cute Monster Girl who has a place in society.
  • Golden Mask is a hero who fights alongside her Quirkless sisters by using her own to synchronize with them, making them a tight-knit team.
  • Just like some animals can become heroes in society, we get an altered item that becomes a hero in the form of Cyber-Droid. It turns out the government in this reality were actually willing to recognize a Benevolent A.I. for what it is.
  • Shoto interns with Infablaze, a former sidekick of Endeavor's, who intends to improve both sides of Shoto's Quirk to make him stronger overall.

     Chapter 28: A Naive Vision
  • The fact that the SCP Foundation actually took steps to treat Foresight's problems rather than use her like a lab rat shows that this version of the Foundation actually cares about people, rather than being "cold, not cruel".
  • Toshi and Mirai actually get to meet up and have a heartfelt conversation. Mirai even admits that Toshi chose the perfect candidate for his successor, even more so than Mirai's choice of Mirio.
  • Even better... Mirai can no longer see the terrible future that ultimately split the two friends up in the first place.
  • While not all of Stain's victims have been killed, they have been forced into retirement. There's a memorial for Tensei that Tenya attends, contemplating his role as the new Ingenium.
  • During the initial confrontation with Stain, Tenya immediately goes to help Native on Swift Sculpt's orders, rather than ignore them to attack Stain directly (well, save for tackling him to the ground to get him off Native to begin with).

     Chapter 29: Hero Killer, Stain
  • Tenya and Swift Sculpt have some choice words for Stains' ideology that are equal parts realistic and idealistic, in stark contrast to Stain's cynicism.
  • When Izuku and Regenizard appear to back up Tenya and Swift Sculpt, Regenizard proudly introduces Izuku by his hero name, proclaiming him the chosen successor to All Might.
  • Between Tenya, Izuku, and Shoto, Stain starts second-guessing his ideology with such promising young heroes surrounding him.

Chapter 30: The Meaning of a Hero
  • Native can only stare in awe as three student heroes manage to take out the Hero Killer. He remarks how much potential the new generation of heroes clearly has.
  • In spite of having his philosophy ripped to shreds, Stain still sees a glimmer of hope for future heroes when he sees Izuku take down the winged Nomu.
  • Stranglehold offers Shigaraki a few contacts she and her brothers have to help him create a new League of Villains, showing she's come to accept him as a true villain.

Chapter 31: Aftermath, the League Forms
  • Because Izuku, Shoto, and Tenya had permission to engage Stain (helped by the fact that they managed to capture him without seriously injuring him), the Hosu police chief eagerly grants them credit for the capture. (Well, regulations say their teachers get top credit, but they're still credited as sidekicks.)
  • Despite Shigaraki's reservations about Stain getting more coverage than his own attack, Sliming Sadist points out its only natural since Stain is more well-known. But he assures Shigaraki that with four Nomus captured, the populace will start to understand that the League of Villains is not to be taken lightly.
  • We see a small scene with Mr. Compress, Spinner, and Mustard. Since the League of Villains is all about just making trouble for heroes now, they decide they can't be part of wanton anarchy, having a dream of changing society for the sake of those like them. So they decide to strike out together independently, becoming a simple criminal gang that acts Just Like Robin Hood.

     Chapter 32: Everyone's Internships
  • Miss J as per canon is a major source of heartwarming, offering to teach Denki how to better control his Quirk by helping him learn the inns and outs of electrical energy.
  • The hero Genesis helps Koji get over his fear of bugs by using her Evolution Quirk to make a caterpillar rapidly go through its life cycle into a butterfly. The sight of it seems to really help Koji.
  • Tsuyu gains a major boost in confidence when the coast guard offers their thanks for her part in helping Selkie take down Innsmouth.

Chapter 33: One For All, All For One
  • As the students reunite, they talk about how much they managed to learn from their internships. It's a light-hearted atmosphere in the wake of such craziness.
  • Much like Toshi had aid when he fought All For One, Izuku's friends are determined to help him should the time ever come for him to fight All For One.

     Chapter 34: The Final Exams
  • Hitoshi checks in on Class 1-A during lunch and lets them know about Aizawa taking notes on them, and that they shouldn't expect to just be facing combat robots. Much better advice than what they got in canon.
  • Cementoss praises Red Riot and Sugarman for their clever tactic in bypassing his Quirk.

     Chapter 35: Beyond Recommendation
  • The overall banter between Freezerburn and Creati, showing just how much chemistry they really have.
  • In particular, Creati reminds Freezerburn that he's still doing things his father's way, rather than trying to be a hero on his own merits. Freezerburn realizes she's right and lets her come up with the plan since his completely flopped.

     Chapter 36: Class 1-A's Resolve
  • A small one, but when the SCP Foundation saved Nezu from the Serpent's Hand, they were joined by the Global Assault Coalition. This is clearly meant to be an alternate version of the Global Occult Coalition, the Foundation's biggest Foil. Seeing the two organizations work together in a world where anomalies are accepted is just heartwarming in itself.
  • Nezu shows glowing praise for Alien Queen and Chargebolt for not stooping to playing his game.
  • After all the buildup, Midorang and Uravity finally become a couple in a truly heartwarming confession.
  • Interning under Genesis definitely did Anima some good. Not only is he speaking more, but he's less scared when he goes to instruct the bug colony in targeting Present Mic.
  • When Midorang mentions how all his classmates are so clever in the use of their Quirks, Grape Juice and Cellophane prove him right, unlike in canon.

Chapter 37: The Final Match, Defeat All Might
  • All Might praises his two best students for their intelligent means of beating him.
  • Just the fact that all the students were able to go for the capture option is both awesome and heartwarming, showing just how far they've come.
  • All the new League recruits, save for Dabi, already show Shigaraki a degree of respect. Heck, Foxfire actually starts flirting with him, not caring how he looks.
  • Foxfire, aka Kim Seong-Ah, is the first person Shigaraki lets know of his real name, Tenko Shimura, showing he still remembers who he once was.

Chapter 38: Singing to the Sky
  • Shigaraki is willing to pay Giran extra for time wasted regarding Dabi's recruitment.
  • While at the mall, Tenya runs into Mei again, who pretty much spells out that she's gained a crush on Tenya. The two are still socially awkward, so decide their first date should just be helping Tenya shop for the training camp.
  • Shoto and Momo are also going on their first date, as well as Izuku and Ochaco.
  • Izuku and Katsuki get to sign autographs for a few fans they gained as a result of the sports festival.
  • Shigaraki admits that his feelings for Foxfire are serious... But for the time being he has to be careful with intimacy due to his lack of control over his Quirk.
  • We see that Shigaraki still has some semblance of the hero he once wanted to be due to his moral options while playing video game, saving all the Little Sisters in Bioshock, and choosing the Paragon options in Mass Effect.
  • During their talk, Shigaraki comes to realize the roles that heroes and villains play in society, why certain people pick one side or the other, and that the people actually realize the peace they take for granted is more fragile than it appears. With this in mind, he decides to be a different sort of villain from All For One, and even surpass him.
  • The reason Crimson Death gives All For One the information on Wolfram's operations in I-Island in spite of how disappointed he is in his son? It's an early birthday present. Being disappointed does not mean you stop loving your flesh and blood.

     Chapter 39: Two Heroes
  • Dave didn't just make All Might's new costume. He made one for Regenizard too.
  • As it turns out, Toshi had considered taking Junko to I-Island, but Junko declined since her blindness meant she couldn't properly enjoy the expo.
  • Melissa calling Regenizard "Uncle Tony" shows the Reptilian Hero is just as much a friend of the Shields as All Might.
  • It turns out Toshi actually told Dave about One For All in this universe, and that he's chosen a successor. Naturally this contributes to Dave's Adaptational Heroism. Dave in turn told Melissa all about it.
  • Izuku admits that All Might has been like a father to him, especially since his own dad isn't always able to be home.
  • Toshi and Dave have a good-natured laugh about their Incompatible Orientation, with Dave being bisexual while Toshi's heterosexual.
  • During the battle with the security drones, Izuku shares his high-calorie candies with Momo so she can hold out for longer using her constructs.
  • The vestiges start encouraging Izuku once he awakens Ancestor Speak, with one them (later revealed to be Yoichi Shigaraki) calling Izuku the best of all of them.
  • After the situation is resolved, All Might comforts Dave, who wonders just how long Sam was deceiving him.
  • Dave gets to be the one to host the barbecue for Class 1-A, having a much brighter future without the stigma of being seen as a villain.

     Chapter 40: One Final Favor
  • Thanks to Banananasher's technology, Shigaraki learns that, despite overhearing that his shoes were made for Quirkless people, he's not genetically Quirkless. He just wasn't born with Decay as his Quirk.
  • In fact, Izuku's research shows that the boy named Tenko Shimura (who we know is actually Shigaraki) was born with a Quirk called Virtual Reality. Imagine if All For One hadn't interfered with Shigaraki's life.
  • Despite starting to lose faith in All For One, Shigaraki still cares enough for his mentor to do one final job for him... Leading his new League in capturing the Wild Wild Pussycats.

Chapter 41: The Pussycats and the Kid
  • Shigaraki refers to his new team, sans Dabi, as rooks, bishops, and knights. And refers to Foxfire as his queen. They showed him respect, and even love, so he's returning the favor.
  • Vlad King was able to rehabilitate Himiko away from the path of villainy.
  • While Mandalay later notes that Kota "tolerates" her because they're family, the scene with her and Kota shows he likely does more than that.
  • Shigaraki tries on his new proto villain uniform (a modified version of his canon one). While he hasn't quite found his villain identity yet, he feels renewed nonetheless.

     Chapter 42: A Child's Logic is Flawed
  • In this story the Wild Wild Pussycats have a fifth member, female hero Cat Noir. She proudly declares herself to be descended from French heroes. And since we learn that she has a cousin with ladybug-based powers, her ancestors were cat and ladybug-themed, and that her real name is Colette Dupain, it seems that in this reality Marinette and Adrien were able to get together and have descendants.
  • Izuku gives Kota a serious talk about how warped his logic is, even giving him a Dope Slap when Kota claims heroes and villains just kill each other (not only do heroes aim not to kill when battling villains, they also try and rescue people).
  • The fact that the other female Pussycats are trying to help Pixie-Bob take some time off to find a mate shows they're truly concerned about her mental health.
  • Shoto tries to give Izuku some advice on how to get through to Kota. Izuku isn't sure if it'll work the same way (Shoto suggests actions over words, but obviously Izuku can't beat up a little kid as that wouldn't help, and what are the odds some danger will give Izuku a genuine chance to save Kota?) but the effort is appreciated.

     Chapter 43: The League Strikes
  • Once Midorang hears about how Muscular killed Kota's parents, he's ready to throw down with every ounce of his power.
  • Dynamite points out that Midorang isn't just invincible in body, but in spirit, ready to fight down to his indestructible parts. Then heal right back up and keep fighting, stronger than ever.
  • Midorang berates Muscular for thinking a hero shouldn't risk their life for a promise they can't keep, pointing out that it was Muscular himself who prevented Water Hose from keeping their own promise of keeping others safe. He also retorts that heroes risk their lives so they can keep their promise.
  • All this, plus the fact the Midorang is able to not only survive Muscular, but outright defeat him, finally gets it through to Kota just how important heroes are to society, and why people would choose such a vocation.

     Chapter 44: Heroes of Tomorrow
  • Shigaraki was actually starting to like Muscular in spite of his Blood Knight tendencies, and is actually sorry to have to let him go simply because he got captured.
  • Graffiti working to help Magne and Operatic moving to get Vector out of danger shows that this new League of Villains is definitely one that can work. As Shigaraki noted a few chapters earlier, a party's skills don't matter half as much as how well they can work together, and these scenes prove it. It's telling that Dabi is the only one who can't get along with his partner, Twice, while Muscular and Moonfish just go off on their own.
  • Tsukuyomi declares Dark Shadow to be more than his Quirk. To him, Dark Shadow is also his brother.
  • The feeling is mutual, as even in his feral state Dark Shadow has enough presence of mind to recognize friend from foe.

     Chapter 45: The Counterattack
  • Tsukuyomi's connection to Dark Shadow is so strong that he finds the fight against Moonfish just by sensing a second Dark Shadow (the one created by Himiko when she transformed into Tsukuyomi).
  • It turns out Izuku let Eijiro and Fumikage in on the secret of One For All following the sports festival, showing just how close they are as his friends.
  • The class has been so tight-knit that Tsukuyomi contemplates letting them all know about One For All, just as he lets Froppy know so she's not as confused as she was moments ago.
  • When Operatic requests an extraction for the League due to how outmatched they are, Shigaraki doesn't hesitate to agree, showing he doesn't want to lose this new team. Though the fact that Moonfish (whom he thought was too psychotic to be part of the team) was just captured likely played a large part in that.
  • When Monoma arrives at the bar, he immediately greets Sliming Sadist as family. Despite wanting to try his hand at being a hero, he clearly knows family and is respectful to them.

     Chapter 46: Sudden Departure
  • The fact that Monoma actually earned a good amount of rescue points during the UA entrance exam shows he really made an earnest try at being a hero, and if not for his Inferiority Superiority Complex might have made a good one (heck, canon shows that he can be a great hero).
  • In general, the SCP Foundation controlling hero society shows less desire for control and more desire for "let's just make sure people can consider themselves safe", nixing the more egregious laws requiring Quirk usage so that people could use their Quirks in life-or-death situations or could help people in need so long as they don't interfere with hero work in the process.
  • Related to the above, Class 1-A is given the go-ahead to aid in helping Izuku and Katsuki, showing the school trusts these students to know what they're doing.
  • As decided earlier, the whole class is let in on the secret of One For All, and all of them (including Dark Shadow) throw their hands in to declare their intent to be heroes. It's both a badass and heartwarming moment.

     Chapter 47: Call to Kamino
  • A small moment in Katsuki's interactions with the cauterpiller, an anomalous centipede of sorts that can ingest flammable materials and combusts when it eats enough. Feeling a kinship with the creature, Katsuki decides to make use of it to power up his attacks.
  • Monoma's interactions with Heart Piercer shows he is accepted among the Crimson Family.
  • That moment where Shigaraki regains Virtual Reality. Without Decay, he tentatively touches a door with all five fingers... And it doesn't turn to dust. For the first time in his life, Shigaraki... Now Tenko Shimura once more... Can interact with the world around him without destroying it.

     Chapter 48: The Heroes Raid
  • All Might's friends fought alongside him last time he faced All For One, and they plan to do so again. It's definitely nice to see Toshi have people he can truly rely on in this universe.
  • All Might believes in his two best students, stating that Izuku and Katsuki are dedicated to the ideals of heroism and would never turn to evil.
  • Cockatrice and Jackie have been a team for at least a few years, and this is evidenced in the fact that both of them ran from the heroes raiding the hideout.

Chapter 49: Secret of the Nomus
  • Foxfire giving Infinite their first kiss together really cements their relationship, especially in the midst of the League having to relocate due to the raid.
  • With Gustav's research the possibility of restoring the Nomus to normal (including the winged one, which turns out to be a childhood friend of Izuku and Midorang) suddenly exists.
  • Midorang and Ingenium moving to protect Dynamite and Uravity respectively when Gustav opens fire on them. Really shows how close these friends have gotten.

     Chapter 50: Nemeses Collide
  • Toshi and Junko's Meet Cute during the entrance exam, showing the start of their relationship.
  • Inko is able to see the fight between Midorang and Infinite on the news, and cheers on her son.
  • The chopper reporter's excitement and elation when All Might wins his fight, and declares Izuku to be the next Symbol of Peace.
  • Just seeing how relaxed Doctor Buck is in this new reality. Considering she's literally from a more mainstream SCP universe and had to deal with everything that entails, she's earned this peace.
  • A small one, but it seems Lawrence and Molly finally got married some time after arriving in the new reality.

     Chapter 51: Towards the Future
  • After so many years of dating, Toshi finally proposes to Junko following the successful raid at Kamino. With Junko's visor chipped, the crowd can see her Tears of Joy. Naturally, she says yes.
  • The reason Endeavor has no qualms about letting Shoto attend the new school dorms? He's more than strong enough to be a hero, now he needs to learn how to be compassionate. It seems Endeavor does understand what it means to be a hero after all.
  • Also, it turns out Rei's pregnant again. Looks like Enji and Rei were able to fix their marriage.
  • The entire League, including both personalities of Twice, stand behind Infinite as he prepares to expand their ranks. They're in it for the long haul.

     Chapter 52: Odd Future
  • The general comradery as the class checks out each others' rooms. We even get to see rooms that weren't shown in canon, like Minoru or Tsuyu.
  • In particular, Tsuyu's mom helped her find the furniture for her dream room.

     Chapter 53: Your Ultimate Move
  • Mei and Tenya's relationship seems to bring out the best in each other. Mei becomes a lot more calm and focused while maintaining her passion for invention, while Tenya loosens up and starts getting a real sense of humor.
  • Mei and Mayumi show admiration for Melissa's work, noting that it took a while to reverse-engineer.

     Chapter 54: The License Exam
  • Infinite is seen making plans to implement a sort of school for villains, in order to help more wayward souls that are forced into villainy.
  • Himiko gets the chance to become a hero, after several months of being a villain. Hitoshi is also given his chance to live out his dream.
  • As the class heads to the license exam, Katsuki psyches everyone up by saying that it's their origin story. Not "his" origin story. Their origin story.
  • Molly gives Mera a chance to finally get some sleep while she takes over the orientation for the exam. Mera is understandably grateful.

Chapter 55: We Won't Be Crushed
  • Yule Man's reason for joining the League of Villains is to try and learn from the younger generation, knowing how much the game has changed since his prime.
  • The fact that Camie gets to actually participate in the exam this time. Unlike canon, she doesn't get kidnapped by Himiko to take her place (in fact, Himiko is taking the exam for real in a different location).
  • Even facing down the Seijin students, Shoto isn't worried since he's with Tsuyu and Momo, trusting them to help him get through this.

     Chapter 56: Our Determination
  • Infinite sees nothing wrong with Daybreaker being reluctant to kill, since many villains go through their whole careers without spilling blood.
  • Inasa, sensing that Shoto is different than how he was back at the recommendation exam for UA, actually talks with Shoto for a bit to clear the air between them.
  • Momo points out the whole point of passing a license exam for heroes means you've got to be willing to put others above yourself.
Mezo: "After all, if we can't look out for our friends, then we can't be trusted to hold the lives of complete strangers in our hands."
  • While Aizawa still sees Izuku as a rallying point for Class 1-A, here he also says the same of Katsuki.

     Chapter 57: First Round Ends
  • Infinite sympathizes with Bad Humor since both of them are Tragic Villains.
  • Seiji claims that Denki needs to learn his place, but Katsuki retorts that Denki does know his place, that of a true hero.
  • Tsuyu apparently knows Futaba as an internet friend (under the username Alibaba), and they've voice chatted enough to know each other through sound alone. Good to see Tsuyu has friends outside of just Class 1-A.
  • When Minoru thanks Yuga for his rallying beacon, Yuga admits that he felt like true hero in that moment.

     Chapter 58: D-Class Reporting
  • Infinite is willing to help Guilt get out of his slump, already showing himself as the savior villains need.
  • The D-Class. In canon, and in this story's past, the "D" used to stand for "disposable". Now it stands for "distress". As in, they act as civilians in distress to test heroes' ability to safely rescue others. Talk about moving up in the world.
  • Izuku already shows much better reassurance abilities and a talent for rallying heroes in maximizing rescue efforts, which doesn't go unnoticed by the "boy" he was reassuring.
  • Swampanne noticed Mina helping civilians with a warm smile, and is glad to have taught her so well.
  • Shoto helps Inasa be less reckless regarding using his Quirk to save civilians.
  • Camie uses her Quirk to help put the civilians at ease at the triage center.

Chapter 59: Tales From One Foundation to Another
  • Waldo's nostalgia when going over how he grew up on the Where's Wally? series.
  • Instead of being thrown into another Crapsack World like what happened at the end of Season 1, the Tales gang winds up in an SCP reality that also includes major elements from the MHA manga.
  • Living in a Lighter and Softer world starts to improve Amelia's morale and mental state, helping her break out of her ice cold mentality.
  • When Amelia learns that All Might is starting to consider finding a successor, she's immediately makes sure Izuku is on the list, knowing he'd be able to handle One For All's power.

Chapter 60: Deliberation of the Overseers, Exam's End
  • Gorefield shows a good relationship with his dog Odie, tossing him a meatball from his meal. That's something Garfield would likely never do for Odie.
  • Yo winds up learning his own lesson, actually noting how amazing the first-year students are.
  • Mera is also impressed at the minimal point loss, noting that they'd likely have quite the impressive amount of heroes going forward.
  • Nagamasa does admit that Inasa helping to hold off Gang Orca is worthy of praise.

Chapter 61: Rise Up, Heights Alliance
  • When Herr Chirurg states that he doesn't intend to only use his medical knowledge for the League exclusively, Infinite sees no problem, noting they'll likely need to help other villains get patched up after fighting heroes.
  • Not only are Shoto, Katsuki, and Inasa able to pass the exam, but so is Camie.
  • Futaba and Sumire are giddy about passing, intending to join their friends at the hero agency they work at.
  • Himiko manages to pass her own exam, officially going from a villain with no code name to the new hero Red Shift.
  • The students officially name themselves after their dorm, as a sign of solidarity for the future.
  • Gear Woman's tearjerker story about disowning her daughter Eri without thinking, and what that allowed Overhaul to do to her, strikes a chord with Infinite and he vows to help Gear Woman rescue Eri.

Chapter 62: Congratulations, Toshi and Junko
  • Wolfram is known to be a consummate professional. So it really means something when he's willing to help Innsmouth free his siblings pro bono, assuming they can get the backup to do it.
  • Prior to the wedding, Shoto finds out his family will be attending. Enji let's Shoto know how proud he is that Shoto was able to become a hero on his own terms.
  • Just the wedding scene in general. A few highlights include Izuku and Ochaco reuniting with Melissa, Mirai and Dave getting to meet each other, and the exchanging of vows.
  • When the press release is issued for the wedding, Infinite and Foxfire read the article and start to contemplate getting married themselves.
  • Despite not knowing Innsmouth and Wolfram too well, Infinite is impressed by their reputation and hires them on the spot, completing his League officially as he leads the gang in a toast.

Chapter 63: The Big Three of UA High
  • Apparently Vector and Operatic have started a relationship.
  • There's also a bit of Ship Tease between Twice and Gear Woman.
  • Infinite is willing to add a few extra zeroes to Giran's paycheck just for hazard pay.

     Chapter 64: Make My Story
  • The fact that Nezu let Koda bring Felix to class both for Quirk practice and Fuzz Therapy. Considering Nezu is a rodent, the fact that he's okay with a cat in the same building as him says a lot (including some hints to his actual species, but that's beside the point).
  • Mirio shows great praise to Izuku for how powerful he is even without experience. He may have lost out on inheriting One For All, but he certainly knows how be a Symbol of Peace regardless.

Chapter 65: Interview the New Heroes
  • Just how wholesome the interviews with Class 1-A come off as. Tokuda remains professional, but lets his inner geek out when talking with Izuku about how All Might saved his dad years ago.

     Chapter 66: Yakuza and Tricksters
  • The League being willing to stand up for each other as Overhaul badmouths the group as a whole.
  • Infinite drops his calm demeanor a little when Overhaul implies the League are meant to be tools, and sends Guilt to literally make Overhaul regret his words. Too bad it ends badly...
  • Guilt has actually been getting better since joining the League, implying they've been helping him train to become stronger. And he notes that not just Magne's friend, but those close to Operatic and Foxfire also have no problems with them being villains.
  • Once Infinite knocks Overhaul back he wastes no time in building Foxfire a new arm using his Quirk.
  • Futaba gets excited when Izuku decides to join Valjean's agency for the work study.

Chapter 67: Starting the Work Study
  • The Shadows, Valjean's student hero team, definitely have a comradery to them.
  • Goro Akechi is among the team, and by all accounts is a genuine hero in this reality.
  • Frasier Melbrook is a man who got a raw deal in SCP canon (for reference, he was SCP-3017), but here he has a Quirk that is actually beneficial, and he's become a talented hero working as a sidekick for Valjean.
  • Midorang and Lemillion get to bond a little as they perform a joint patrol. Though it does get interrupted when Eri bumps into them...

Chapter 68: Her Name is Eri

Chapter 69: To Erase a Quirk
  • Just seeing Class 1-A receiving gratitude for their heroic actions, with heroes and police alike admiring how quickly the students are growing into true heroes.
  • Red Riot stands in front of Uravity to block a bullet from a thug. Considering that bullet is actually a needle holding the Quirk eraser, it's a good thing he can harden his body.
  • Just like in canon, Red Riot gets the inspiration to unleash Unbreakable thanks to Katsuki reassuring him of his own strengths. In fact, his words are even more heartfelt than canon.
  • As Red Riot is praised by the people for his fearless actions, Fat Gum notes that Crimson Riot (Red Riot's idol) would be proud of him.

     Chapter 70: A Disease Can't Be Beneficial
  • Izuku shows Eri his Quirk, and upon seeing what it can do she starts to experienced hope for the first time in years.
  • Eri gets to reunite with her mother Gear Woman, if only briefly. It really shows how much Gear Woman truly cares for Eri, and regrets giving her up.
  • Even better, Infinite makes good on his promise to keep Eri out of Overhaul's hands by using Twice to offer a copy, knowing Overhaul would never know the difference.

Chapter 71: The Raid Begins, Chamber the Eight Bullets
  • Although Class 1-A is given the option to opt out of the raid (only Izuku has any real stake in Eri's well-being), they all choose to stay, showing true heroism. Nezu considers it admirable.
  • When Crimson Death hears about Guilt's murder, he offers to pay for the funeral.
  • Gran Torino is finally able to meet Midorang face-to-face and lets him know how impressed he is with the kid's progress.

Chapter 72: Suneater, Rising With the Dark Nuclear Thunder
  • Suneater and Dynamite talking about their respective friendships and how they influenced their futures.
  • Rock Lock starts to warm up to the junior heroes as they plow the road through the yakuza base.
  • As Suneater fights alongside Arsene, Captain Kidd, and Johanna, he starts to see a kindship with them, realizing he's not alone in the world.

Chapter 73: Red Riot, the Psychic Spear and Frozen Shield
  • Both Lemillion and Cendrillon have confidence in their friends' ability to handle the Garbage Trio.
  • Goemon doesn't hesitate to help Red Riot numb the pain when asked. He even creates a barrier of blue ice to help Red Riot's defense.

Chapter 74: Heights Alliance vs The League of Villains
  • Stranglehold and Sliming Sadist help Magne out by funding her a trip to Thailand, where's she able to get a full transgender surgery. It results in her looking gorgeous. Her old friend doesn't even mind so much, knowing Magne was never comfortable in her old body.
  • Alien Queen hugs Red Riot after he heals from his recent fight, asking him never to scare her like that again.
  • During his fight with Bad Humor, Sugarman calls her ice cream delicious (after eating his way out of it, of course). Cue Bad Humor crying Tears of Joy since it had been forever since anyone complimented her ice cream.

Chapter 75: Fire and Light, Lemillion's Ignition
  • While we learn that Cendrillon's sister Kasumi still died in a car accident, it's heartwarming to see that Sumire chose the path of a hero to honor that sacrifice.
  • While also tragic, it's telling the Kasumi, a Quirkless girl, went out saving her Quirked sister. This might have been the catalyst for Sumire choosing to become a hero.
  • When Overhaul claims he's the only one who can heal Eri's injuries, Arsene declares that he simply won't let her get harmed in the first place. And thanks to his Quirk, he means it.

Chapter 76: Invincible For a Reason
  • We get our first hint in this story that Valjean never stopped hunting for his wife's killer.
  • As Sir Nighteye slips into clinical death, his last moments show him a taste of What Could Have Been.
  • Of course, the real heartwarming moment is when he sees a future involving Lemillion and Midorang, and smiles as the vision shows them victorious. For maybe the first time in his life, his Quirk shows him a bright future.
  • Not only did Eri's visit with her mom help her understand Overhaul's true evil, but it turns out Eri's grandfather had managed to explain to her why Gear Woman did what she did, and that even after losing her husband she still wanted to look out for Eri.

Chapter 77: Break Through the Limits
  • Just the fact that Nejire is dating Tamaki shows how much she cares for him.
  • We also learn that Mirio is dating Bridgette, the MTF girl who appeared a couple chapters ago.
  • The joy on the student heroes' faces as they get to experience each others' Quirks.
  • Overhaul's last thoughts before his defeat show he did care for the boss, even if he had a terrible way of showing it.

     Chapter 78: Polaris
  • The cooldown from the raid. While losses were still sustained, it wasn't nearly as bad as canon.
  • Rock Lock admits that he was wrong about the younger heroes not being fit for the raid, even stating that they outperformed a lot of the veterans.
  • Infinite not only helped Gear Woman save her daughter, but now is taking steps to bring her father back. Granted there's more than one reason for it, but at the same time it shows that Infinite cares about his League.
  • Toshi and Junko deciding to adopt Eri. As we'll see later they do intend to have children of their own, so this is just them being the heroes they are and caring for Eri's well-being.
  • Depestilous successfully resurrects Sasaki, much to the joy of his agency.

     Chapter 79: The Living Anomaly
  • Bridgette didn't leave the movie she was in alone. Her parents came with her.
  • Depestilous is able to revive Oboro since his body was essentially frozen in time due to being turned into Kurogiri. And the first people Oboro reunites with afterward? His old friends Aizawa and Yamada.
  • Class 1-B welcoming back their counterparts following the successful raid, and throwing a party for them. Even the Pan-Dimensional Vending Machine is implied to have missed them (much like canon it's implied the vending machine has some level of sentience), popping out the best snacks it could find from across the multiverse.

Chapter 80: Children of the Future
  • Throughout the exercise, Gang Orca shows full confidence in his new interns.
  • As Toshi and Enji discuss the future, they note that soon the hero rankings will be abolished, removing the need for competition among heroes. A big step forward to be sure.
  • Toshi assures Enji that, faults aside, he's always been an effective hero. He also points out that Enji was only trying to warn Toya (aka Dabi) about his weaknesses, meaning his death wasn't Enji's fault.
  • At the end, Enji smiles, seeing a bright future in the junior heroes, who in turn are working to pass that future forward.

     Chapter 81: Aoyama's Evolution
  • When Enji sees the makeshift slide made by Shoto, Inasa, Camie, and Katsuki, he starts to understand that strength alone cannot make a true hero.
  • Yuga actually starts joining the class for lunch in the cafeteria, stating his enjoyment of Lunch Rush's beef dishes.
  • Koji wants to attribute his animal buddies new ultimate skills to themselves, which is heartwarming on its own. But both Ectoplasm and the animal buddies themselves agree that their skills can also be attributed as Koji's ultimate attacks. That's double the heartwarming.
  • Yuga and Izuku bonding over Quirks again, but this time over said Quirks throwing them for a loop, since both of them can use their Quirks without self-injury in this story.

Chapter 82: Preparing for the Culture Festival
  • Eri's relief that Overhaul was never able to kill anyone during the previous arc.
  • Gentle and La Brava's interactions in general are always heartwarming when they're not hilarious.

     Chapter 83: Let's Make a Rocking Concert
  • While talking together, Toshi notes to Izuku that with All For One dead, One For All is no longer what is protecting the people... Now it's all Izuku.

     Chapter 84: Eri and UA
  • The fact that Mirio and Bridgette share the same cheesy sense of humor just shows how perfect they are together.
  • The UA support course is actually working to help Cyber-Droid create a son for himself.
  • Gentle's thoughts as he finishes running through his UA infiltration scheme shows that he actually returns La Brava's feelings.

     Chapter 85: Sudden Sighting
  • Just like before, Izuku intends to preserve the culture festival, not just for the school as a whole, but for the sake of saving Eri.

Chapter 86: Love and Peace, Not One or the Other
  • When Gentle declares his fight with Izuku a battle between love and peace, Izuku corrects him, saying that both are needed for society to prosper. The fireworks signaling the start of the culture festival go off at that moment, as if to prove his point.
  • After getting beaten down by words and fists, Gentle realizes where he went wrong and surrenders... To avoid putting La Brava in any more danger.

     Chapter 87: Hero Too
  • As it turns out, Gentle's old school friend actually remembered him shortly after forgetting his name. Takenoko, the hero in question, makes the choice to offer Gentle and La Brava a second chance.
  • Ectoplasm praises Izuku for acting like a true hero when working to stop Gentle, not only from infiltrating UA, but from turning him away from the life of a villain.
  • Takenoko notes that he believes Gentle does have what it takes to be a genuine hero. He just has to put his pride aside to more effectively save people.
  • Just like in canon, the concert successfully blows away the last trace of Overhaul's hold over Eri, turning her into a Cheerful Child once more. Anyone who's seen the anime can just picture it in their minds.
  • Gear Woman seems to have found a Second Love in Twice, the two of them enjoying the culture festival together.
  • This time around, it's Junko who offers Eri the candy apple. Already showing signs of being a good mother.
  • Between the Big Three getting ready to graduate, Eri about to be adopted by two heroes, the League of Villains becoming more Anti-Villain, and Gentle on the way to rehabilitation, this story just took a turn for the Lighter and Softer.

     Chapter 88: Starmaker
  • Junko decides to move to UA with Toshi so that Eri can get the care she needs until she's able to control her Quirk.
  • Pixie-Bob actually finds a mate at long last.
  • With the hero ranking system now gone, heroes can now be encouraged to work together more.
  • As somber as Dabi's funeral is, it shows that his family really did love him, even if he never believed it.
  • Enji admits to Shoto that he always would have encouraged a relationship with Momo, even before his Character Development.

Chapter 89: Second Year Summer Vacation
  • Just like how the Palace Rulers (except for Sae) are portrayed in this story as villains due to their heinous actions, the Jail Monarchs are portrayed as pro heroes since they're far more sympathetic.
  • Sophia as usual is just one big bundle of heartwarming, especially with how helpful she tends to be for Midorang.

Chapter 90: Bully of the Church
  • The fact that Alice actually managed to have her crush answered is heartwarming, as she's shown in a relationship with a guy named Ryoma.
  • Alice genuinely cares about her fanbase, to the point where she helps the Shadows in the Shibuya Underworld to free them from its influence.
  • Apparently Alice's relationship with Ryoma started when he literally fought off one of her bullies. His reasoning? As a support course student, he felt it was his duty to support a budding hero like Alice.

Chapter 91: Road Trip, Arrival in Sendai
  • In spite of the seriousness of the AWE, the team is excited to get to go on a road trip across Japan.
  • Morgana gets to enjoy beef tongue with everyone else once they reach Sendai.
  • Ango was more than willing to protect the victims of even his own fans, who attacked them for looking like characters from his novel.
  • Ango was able to obtain his literary award on his own merit, even though his novel is only mid-tier reading.
  • This part of the arc shows something pretty heartwarming... Izuku's friends joining him and the Shadows. It's only the ones part of a particular agency, but it still shows everyone is still training to be the best heroes they can be. The first group is Foresight's agency, which includes Denki, Kyoka, Mezo, and Mashirao.
  • Ango and Yusuke show something of a bond together as fellow artists (Ango as a writer and Yusuke as a painter). Ango even compliments the Sayuri (which was painted by Yusuke's mother).

     Chapter 92: The Serpent's Castle
  • In this reality's version of "Prince of Nightmare" the Fearsome Four remain regular characters, faking their deaths in the first volume. The titular prince even has a relationship the lamia Ante.

Chapter 93: Tanabata and New Meetings
  • Ango's attitude towards writing, that he did it because he loved to, is likely to strike a chord with most fanfiction writers who do the same.
  • Seeing everyone enjoy themselves at Tanabata.
  • Akira gets to be the tokusatsu hero his canon counterpart always wanted to be as Kamen Rider Zephyr. He even has his own Nebulous Evil Organization to fight in the form of the alien PHAZER.
  • EMMA gets her own Adaptational Heroism thanks to Akira and his company successfully helping her understand human emotions, letting her become the aid to humanity she was always designed for.

     Chapter 94: Snowfall in Sapporo
  • Mariko's interactions with Haru. You can just tell that Mariko would have made a good mother-in-law.
  • Fat Gum's agency joins the Shadows in Sapporo, which means Izuku gets to fight alongside Ochaco, who glomps him after a few days being apart, Tenya, and Eijiro. Suneater is there too, of course.

     Chapter 95: Icy Chaos
  • Although Mariko couldn't use her Quirk to save everyone caught in the collapsing snow sculpture, she tries her hardest. And even the mother of the one little girl who died appreciates her effort.
  • While Haru and her father Kunikazu did ultimately wind up as enemies, it's nice to see that Okumura was proud of his daughter when she got her Quirk, showing he does care for her.
  • Most of the gang settles in for a couples night on the Ferris wheel. Eijiro and Tenya instead hit the restaurants, but they still have a bonding session.

Chapter 96: Second Generation Chain Hero
  • Akane has a much better relationship with Zenkichi than canon, largely due to him still hunting for his wife's killer. Akane even gets along well with Seeker.
  • It's actually pretty adorable seeing Akane geek out over a hero team that hasn't even graduated from high school yet.
  • Reaper may be in this for a pure payday, but Ichinose is in this hoping to find the means to feel emotions. There's definitely some humanity still in there.

     Chapter 97: Okinawa's Hassaikai Remnant
  • While in Okinawa, Izuku is greeted by the group that interned with Swampanne, Tsuyu, Minoru, and Mina.
  • Tropicana sees the people of Kukojima as his own family, and wants to do everything he can to protect them, even when the Okinawa Underworld brainwashes them into trying to kill him.
  • He also cares greatly for Kami, the Thaumiel entity that grants him his storm powers.
  • Finding Tropicana still alive and able to return to his island and people is sure to get people relieved.

     Chapter 98: Return to Kyoto
  • Even if it was for an investigation, the fact that Toshi was willing to splurge on the junior heroes to set them up in a hotel in Kyoto while they dealt with Owada shows just how much he's willing to help them.
  • Izuku also meets up with the team interning with Sir Nighteye, Koji, Rikido, Fumikage, and Hanta. Naturally Mirio is there too, as is Felix.
  • Bubble Girl and Centipeder were willing to look after Bugsy for Koji.

Chapter 99: The Force of Twin Chains, Osaka Bound
  • Sasaki notes that his Quirk has been showing him much brighter futures as of late.
  • Zenkichi is so impressed by Akane's heroic capabilities that he offers to send UA a recommendation just for her.
  • Apparently Akira's Kamen Rider identity is modeled after his favorite tokusatsu show.
  • The next group to join the Shadows is Detective Void's team, Toru and Yuga.
  • The Osaka Underworld is designed to cater to Deathless's ideal of a world without the Quirkless. So when part of the airport terminal demands the heroes remove the one Quirkless member of their team (Detective Void), they refuse and instead perform an in-built Dungeon Bypass.

     Chapter 100: Real Eyez
  • Most MHA fanfics have the Meta Liberation Army be Quirkless-hating terrorists. But Deathless's talk with Re-Destro shows the group as a whole, while certainly willing to cause massive damage to make a point, are Well-Intentioned Extremists at worst with most abhorring the idea of racism against Quirkless humans.
  • Izuku makes his own view on Quirk laws known. Specifically, he feels they're necessary, especially since otherwise people as strong as him could easily destroy the world.
  • Izuku gets the chance to talk with his grandfather Korenosuke. The man turns out to be Quirkless, and feared Izuku would wind up the same, hence why he created the Zero Driver so that Izuku could still be a hero thanks to wielding an Object of Power. By the time he learned Izuku did have a Quirk he had already completed it, but decided to go ahead with his plan regardless to make Izuku the best hero he could be. Grandfather of the year right here, people.
  • Finally we get Gang Orca's team, with Shoto, Momo, and of course, Katsuki. Camie and Inasa are there too.
  • Ichinose gets reassured of her humanity, not just by Sophia, but by EMMA too. EMMA even sees Ichinose as a mother-figure. A far cry from the canon AI with a god-complex.
  • Thanks to Akira backing up the current version of EMMA, resetting the system to shut down Reaper's Underworlds won't revert her back to her canon personality.
  • At the end of the adventure, Izuku gets praised by Aizawa for helping to save all of Japan.

     Chapter 101: Training is Needed
  • Just like in canon, One For All puts so much strain on a Quirked human that it shortens their lifespan. But Toshi and Izuku don't have to worry about that, for different reasons. In Toshi's case, constantly being healed by Depestilous has actually lengthened his life, ensuring he'll live well beyond the point that One For All would have prematurely aged him. Izuku's Regeneration on its own would have given him a lifespan of centuries, outliving all his friends and loved ones. But with One For All his life has been cut down to just one century, preventing that tragedy.
  • During the previous arc, the League of Villains had been separated to go on a two-year training mission. Seeing them glad to see each other after all that time really shows that they're a Family of Choice.
  • Bad Humor gets to enjoy serving ice cream to kids once more. Even Yule Man notes she looks more at home there than as a villain.
  • Magne and Graffiti seem to have hooked up at some point. Meanwhile, Magne herself has spent the last two years topping the music world as a soul idol.
  • Innsmouth's joy as he gets reunited with his adopted siblings. They're equally elated to see him again after two whole years.
  • Vector definitely cheers up when seeing Operatic again, especially after having to deal with the absurdity of the fake League.

Chapter 102: We're the League of Villains, You Know
  • The fact that Infinite thinks so highly of the Heights Alliance that even Grape Juice ranks high on his threat list. Keep in mind Minoru is probably the least physically capable of the team. That's how much respect Infinite has.

     Chapter 103: Heroes Investigate
  • Gentle, La Brava, Spinner, Compress, and Mustard have all found new paths as Foundation agents, letting them enjoy a life of heroism that they thought long closed to them.
  • Even in this universe, Tsuyu manages to become friends with Hakubo.

Chapter 104: Second Raid, Target the League
  • Froppy gets to reunite with Sirius after a few years.
  • Midnight chooses to retire after a near-death experience the year prior and pass her teaching job over to Mt. Lady, an act All Might considers generous given their rivalry.
  • Magne's fans subtly help in her escape from the police in a way that doesn't get them arrested as criminals.
  • Many chapters earlier, Infinite started laying the groundwork for a villain academy as an answer to all the hero schools. Here we learn he's finally gotten the chance to finish it, giving lost souls a chance to belong.

Chapter 105: Midorang, the New Symbol of Peace
  • In fact, the League now has its own settlement full of lesser villains, 300 in total. And it's nominally run by Monoma, acting as an advisor to the League.
  • The League's hideout includes a memorial for Guilt, showing they haven't forgotten him even after two years. Even better? Toxic Chainsaw was the one who set it up, despite never having met Guilt prior to his death.
  • Reuniting after two years, Infinite greets Foxfire with a passionate kiss as they fly away in their hideout.

Chapter 106: Dropping the Old Guard
  • All the teachers of the League acting to help their students escape, some of which (like Scrapyard and Strongarm) having previously gotten out of jail.
  • Crimson Death and Scrapyard seem to be old friends, and willing go into a final battle against heroes knowing it'll only end with the two of them in a jail cell. They even hope they get adjacent cells so they can catch up on old times.
  • The veteran villains all show pride in their students. Especially so with Quick-Dry, who is implied to be descended from Brooke Augustine, and yet had no qualms teaching Graffiti, who she implies is descended from Augustine's nemesis Delsin Rowe.
  • Infinite shedding the last traces of his old life as Tomura Shigaraki, even calling Sliming Sadist by the name he once called All For One... Sensei.

Chapter 107: Gigantomachia and the Deus ex Machina
  • When discovering the Deus Ex Machine, Herr Chirurg trusts Toxic Chainsaw to help him with the controls.
  • Thanks to the Deus Ex Machina, Infinite gets to reunite with his mother and sister. He even gets to confront his father, and lets him leave with dignity. After everything All For One took from him, Tenko Shimura now has his life back, and more.
  • Despite Giran being just an information broker, he's still considered a friend to the League, to the point where Infinite threatens Re-Destro's life if he takes more than a few fingers.

Chapter 108: Deika City, Red Shift Investigates
  • Twice still owes a lot to Giran, but there's one more thing to add in this story... It was because of Giran that Twice was able to get over his Split Personality Disorder, and get together with Gear Woman.
  • The League starts to see Gigantomachia as one of their own, even calling him Machia for short.
  • Red Shift and Mindblank are now partners, having hooked up during their time together.

     Chapter 109: Mooks No More
  • After decades of getting beaten down by the Super Sentai, the Combatants get to have a win, and a true home as allies of the League of Villains.

     Chapter 110: The Dragonslayer
  • The implication that Midorang trusted the Big Three to deliver the drivable parts of the Dragonslayer.
  • Infinite doesn't just want a world for villains. He's fully adopted Crimson Death's mindset, wanting a world where everyone, villain, hero, or just civilian, is entitled to the same rights. All men are born equal indeed.
  • When Trumpet has the audacity to call Gigantomachia a monster, Infinite fires back that the giant is still human. Just one that's heavily mutated from all his various Quirks.

     Chapter 111: Final Collision
  • Re-Destro is shocked when the League doesn't just spare him... They ensure he can no longer be connected to the rest of the Meta Liberation Army, framing Trumpet as the leader instead, and letting Rikiya become a leader on his own terms.
  • After a successful operation, the League celebrates together, and gets a good laugh as the Combatants show their appreciation with a goofy dance.

     Chapter 112: Live Devil
  • Re-Destro makes good use of his second chance, forming a seminar called the Paranormal Liberation Front, which caters to heroes and villains alike.
  • Foxfire gets a pleasant surprise when Infinite's mother Nao whips up some Korean food. And all because she thought Foxfire might be missing her old home.
  • After three whole years (and a couple time skips) the Heights Alliance successfully graduates and opens their own hero agency, celebrating with a hot pot. Plus Ultra indeed.

     Chapter 113: Everybody's Fool
  • While Queen Maeve hates most of her celebrity status, she does admit to having enjoyed doing motorcycle commercials.

     Chapter 114: The Pride
  • Red Riot offers two American contestants of his obstacle course show a taped viewing of the episode they feature in, which they truly appreciate due to Vought's media embargo.
  • Himiko becomes a spokeswoman for a blood bank, with Kyoka making an somber yet uplifting song to go with the commercial.
  • Not only has Eri finally gained control of her Quirk, she's able to be happy with her new family as they work with her in her new show.
  • Even better, she has a younger brother now. Toshi and Junko recently had a son named Mamoru, who shares his father's Quirk.

     Chapter 115: The Russian Incident
  • While Homelander only likes Japanese food and pop culture, Edgar understands Japanese culture far more.
  • Soda Popinski's cordial greeting to the Phantom Strikers shows that heroes from different countries enjoy working together on a regular basis.
  • Popinski even lets the Japanese heroes bring in the insurgents that were de-powered by Soldier Boy while he reports to his government.

     Chapter 116: Rules of Nature

Chapter 117: The Hot Wind Blowing
  • At some point Fumikage and Reiko found love with each other and got married.
  • Anima and Shemage are also living together out in the forest near the Wild Wild Pussycats' property.

Chapter 118: I'm My Own Master Now
  • Tenya and Mei are revealed to have gotten married as well (though Mei chose to keep her maiden name for the sake of branding) and are even on their way to becoming parents.
  • In spite of A-Train wanting to atone for his past crimes, Ingenium still offers him the chance to be a true hero in America.
  • It's surprisingly wholesome to see Soldier Boy and Homelander interact like father and son, and not even in a twisted sort of way.

     Chapter 119: A Stranger I Remain
  • A small moment, but A-Train does mention in his note to Homelander about picking up his girlfriend (likely Popclaw).
  • Billy Butcher has a much better view of heroes (and by extension a better relationship with The Boys) thanks to watching All Might and other non-Vought heroes.
  • Bad Humor has quickly become The Heart of the League of Villains, especially since the rest of the team enjoys her ice cream.
  • Once Queen Maeve becomes a true Quirked human, she readily embraces the idea of reforming The Seven into true heroes, just like she always wanted.

     Chapter 120: Stains of Time
  • Despite officially living in Japan now, Waldo enjoys being able to return to England for a particular mission.

     Chapter 121: Red Sun
  • Stormfront seems to be the only one against A-Train rejoining The Seven (and even then, only because she wants her own choice, Blue Hawk, to join instead). Even Homelander, heck even the family of the woman Reggie accidentally killed, are okay with him becoming a hero again. In the latter case it's because Reggie is truly repentant and has shown that he is willing to be a true hero.
  • During the charity live stream with Red Riot and his team, their followers pledged over a thousand dollars! (It's stated in-story to be 13,000 yen, which given normal exchange rates would be somewhere in the neighborhood of a thousand dollars, give or take.)
  • After Stormfront's arrest, Edgar starts having the more noble members of Vought sell off their stocks so they won't be caught on a potentially sinking ship.

Chapter 122: The Only Thing I Know For Real
  • Buster Beaver lets Black Noir know that he doesn't need to come to the old pizzeria to see the gang. Since they're all in Earving's head, being his imaginary friends, he can see them anytime or anywhere he wants.
  • Buster even encourages Black Noir to get stronger and evolve his own Quirk, which pushes Earving to push past his PTSD and actually begins to talk.
Black Noir: "W-W-W-Where... Can I find the Alliance...?"
  • During his fight with the Chaos Insurgency, Earving really shows that he's ready to stop running from his problems.
Black Noir: "You're dealing with a man who has seen hell. And one who just found a new reason to live."
  • The fact that Buster Beaver stops stuttering shows that Earving is starting to mentally recover from his trauma after the incident with Soldier Boy.
  • Edgar notices that Earving's new Healing Factor is strong enough to counteract his tree nut allergy since he's actually enjoying an Almond Joy. For anyone frustrated by the limitations of their food allergies, this is likely to be a catharsis.
  • Edgar actually admits to regretting being a profit-minded businessman, as it's caused more problems than it's really worth.

     Chapter 123: Collective Consciousness
  • Like in canon, Supersonic is shown to be Amicable Exes with Starlight, still seeing her as a friend in spite of their breakup.
  • Billy wants Ryan to be addressed as "Ryan Butcher", intending on accepting him as a stepson, and even wanting to show Ryan what real heroes are like.
  • We get to see Star and Stripe, and she's one of Regenizard's sidekicks, choosing to train in Japan like how All Might trained in America since Vought's corporate takeover meant she needed to find some way of getting her hero career off the ground. The fact that one of her personal heroes took her in without question is definitely heartwarming.

Chapter 124: It Has To Be This Way
  • It turns out Black Noir didn't intend to corrupt Homelander. He'd actually hoped that after one cover-up John would try to improve for the next mission. It, unfortunately, didn't take, but it paints Earving's actions in a whole new light.
  • Midorang declares that he's not just doing this to bring in a dangerous criminal. He's doing this to help the home country of Regenizard. The fact that he, a Japanese man, is fighting for the sake of America speaks volumes as to why he's the new Symbol of Peace.
Midorang: "John Alexander is officially under arrest. He'll be de-powered and stripped of anything that labeled him a hero. People of America, your new heroes are ready to protect and serve!"
  • The Seven is officially reformed with true heroes, Star and Stripe, A-Train, Queen Maeve, Black Noir, Translucent, Starlight, and Supersonic. Starlight even gets some sugar with Hughie when they reunite.
  • Butcher actually trusts Midorang with training Ryan in the use of his powers and intends to have him go to UA High so he can be taught what it means to be a true hero.

     Chapter 125: Merry-Go-Round
  • In this reality Yukiteru and Yuno have actually been a couple for years, and their interactions show it's a much healthier relationship than canon.
  • As is revealed by the students, Himiko and Hitoshi are planning on getting married.
  • When helping Yukiteru and Yuno deal with Boar, Emily decides on the spot to make them her interns so she'd have an excuse to grant them emergency Quirk permission.

     Chapter 126: Attack on UA
  • Even having long retired, All Might continues to teach future generations of heroes.
  • Seems in almost any universe Minene winds up dating Masumi, and this world is no exception.
  • Minene shows genuine concern for the UA students that were escorted to the safe zones, hoping Sheep didn't find some way to target them.
  • Nezu shows pride at seeing how far Mudman has come as a hero.
  • Even after Sheep escapes, Keigo shows he's ready and willing to work with Yuki and Yuno to hunt down Sheep and the other ten remaining Zodiac assassins.

     Chapter 127: Fantasy Program
  • Yuki and Yuno actually have a fun date of the amusement park, even if it is just to try and find the rest of their currently unknown team.
  • Yuki accepts Yuno Warts and All, even finding many of her pranks funny.
  • Yuno actually has a much better relationship with her parents. While her mom did want to push Yuno to become the best hero possible, Yuno took it in stride since being a hero was her dream.

     Chapter 128: Seigi Sentai GO12
  • We see how Izuku is training Ryan, and the boy seems to be getting a handle on his powers thanks to Midorang's teachings.
  • Dog has one standard he never deviates from. As a schoolteacher when not on the job, he does his best to avoid involving children in his assassinations.
  • Tsubaki has a much healthier relationship in this timeline, and with Aru Akise of all people.
  • For all that Minene and Tsubaki are grossed out from watching Takao kill someone, they are sympathetic to his reasons for needing to.
  • Yomotsu gets to live out the dream he had in canon, being the head of a genuine Super Sentai and fighting for true justice.
  • Despite having blood on their hands and not being afraid to kill, Minene and Takao avoid killing the Omekata members even while they're drug-crazed.

     Chapter 129: Two to One

     Chapter 130: Killing With Kindness

My Hero SCP One-Shots

     Miraculous Origin of Crimson Death
  • Even before becoming the Father of Evil he'd be in later years, Jalil already shows Benevolent Boss tendencies when he helps his initial crew avoid getting possessed by an Akuma released from the Agreste manor.
  • When Adrien notices his dad is missing, he gets really concerned. For all that Gabriel put him through, we know he and Adrien still love each other, and it shows here.
  • Early on Jalil thought his new female teammate Phantasm was pretty cute. Later it turns out she returns the sentiment, as she becomes the first of his (many) wives.
  • Jalil doesn't mind it when his eldest son Korekiyo (aka All For One) grants him a Quirk to make him immortal. After all, his sister Alix became a time-traveling hero, meaning she can see him at any era in the future.

Good Luck, Driver... Welcome to Twisted Metal
  • In Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, Billy Calypso was the town bully. Here he seems to be friends with everyone. He even goes all Benevolent Genie to grant his friends' wishes when they win his competition.
  • Calypso's family life winds up much better than canon. Heck, even when his daughter Krista winds up being turned into a cyborg after getting in a bad car accident, she's still able to get her body back thanks to the Twisted Metal competition.
  • In most Twisted Metal games, Calypso and Sweet Tooth are annoyed by each other at best and antagonistic to each other at worst. Here they're good friends even when Sweet Tooth becomes a serial killer, to the point Needles wants to take over as master of ceremonies of the Twisted Metal competition, not for petty reasons, but to take the heat off Calypso for a few years.

     First Teachers' Meeting
  • The teachers practically gush about the new hero course students, with the possible exception of Monoma (keep in mind this chapter is meant to take place before the USJ).
  • When Nezu hears how Hitoshi was bullied by his middle school teachers, and said teachers ignored the few friends who stood up for Hitoshi, he's ready to tear down the whole middle school.
  • During this time frame Re-Destro is still leading the Meta Liberation Army, and yet we see that he does genuinely want to help society as a whole, actually finding a means to improve hero costumes via a cheap yet effective way to mass-produce genetic fibers.

     Whatever Happened to Doctor Garaki?
  • The fact that Clef is encouraging Garaki to be proactive in preventing the doomsday scenario his Quirk Singularity Theory shows that he at least believes it's plausible, which is more than what Garaki got in canon.
  • Garaki becomes an aid and friend to each One For All for user over the course of several centuries.
  • After Hikage dies from old age at only forty (due to the backlash of using One For All while already being Quirked) Garaki creates the Nomu research for a different purpose... Making sure future One For All users never have to worry about that.
  • We see that Garaki has a much better relationship with his family, lamenting that his grandson had to stay a child for far too many years and assuring him that he could still live out his dreams.
  • For all his Stupid Evil and short-sightedness, All For One proves he can be a Benevolent Boss, shelling out extra cash when a subordinate secures him a new Quirk, Life Force, to extend his life and give him time to implement his schemes.

     Live for Life Without Hatred
  • The revelation that Odion isn't another incarnation of the Lord of Dark Odio, but rather the reincarnation of Oersted. And he's learned from the mistakes of his past life and turned Odio's hatred into a force to protect, becoming a hero regardless of the stigma of his past.
  • It's revealed he's even got the life that was denied Oersted, having good friends, a loving girlfriend of several years, and is considered noble enough to carry on the tradition of a martial art centuries old.
