    • Her reaction when she realizes she's a superhero? Run through the street cheering and grinning.
  • Despite Kamala's isolation at school, it's clear she does share a genuine friendship with Bruno and as seen in trailers and promotional images, trusts him enough to share the secret of her powers with him.
  • In the "Destiny" TV spot, Sheikh Abdullah delivers the iconic, "Good is not a thing you are, Kamala. It is a thing you do," no doubt inspiring the young heroine as she begins her journey.
  • Scott Lang also gets more recognition for his contribution to undoing the Snap through street art.

Series

    Episode 1: Generation Why
  • As Kamala gets ready in the morning for her driving test, all of her family provides encouragement. Muneeba stresses the importance of road safety, Yusuf offers some light reassurance in turn, and Aamir offers his own advice. It truly shows that despite their struggles, the Khan family is there for each other.
  • Bruno and Kamala's relationship. They both clearly enjoy being around one another, with Bruno even being close to Muneeba and Yusuf and providing support to Kamala for her superhero interests.
  • Muneeba calls Bruno "beta" (son). She anticipated that Bruno would be present to be asked to stay for dinner and she anticipated that he would say no. So she's already prepared food for each of his family members, personalized to their tastes, in individual containers.
Bruno: How did you do that so fast?
Muneeba: You stick to the gizmos, beta, this is my secret.
  • Aamir convinces his parents to let Kamala attend AvengerCon.
  • While it quickly turns sour, the fact that Muneeba and Yusuf were willing to let Kamala go to AvengerCon even after a swift refusal on Muneeba's part. Yusuf even dresses up as the Hulk with a salwar kameez spin, and seems legitimately excited to go!
  • Back in Avengers: Endgame, Scott Lang was quite irritated that he wasn't as popular with the public as the Avengers. Fast forward to AvengerCon, where Ant-Man merchandise (and even an enormous Giant-Man statue) are put on full display, Jersey City has street art dedicated to him, and Kamala even mentions she listens to his podcast. It seems that after Endgame, Scott finally got the nationwide recognition he deserved, and is now hailed and celebrated as an Avenger.
  • The AvengerCon having a memorial in honor of Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff's sacrifice.
  • While they are on the rooftop, Bruno comforts Kamala and says, "You're Kamala Khan. You wanna save the world? Then you're going to save the world". The teens look at each other intently and Bruno leans slightly closer to Kamala as if to kiss her before he snaps back to reality.

    Episode 2: Crushed
  • Kamala encouraging Nakia to run for a position on the board of their local mosque.
  • Kamala apologizes to her mom for sneaking out to AvengerCon. Muneeba realizes that she's been too strict with Kamala and lets her go to Zoe's party.
  • Kamran offering to give Kamala and her friends a ride from the party after the cops arrive. He and Kamala even bond over their shared love of Bollywood movies. Bruno also joins in, though his contribution falls more under Funny Moments and shows signs of jealousy.
    • The next day, he and Kamala bond, and he tells her that she doesn't need to explain what ammi means to him. It's a small moment, but it's definitely heartwarming and reassuring after the last episode revealed that Kamala has a lot of internalized angst over her nationality and culture.
  • Nakia notices Kamala's distraction and offers her feminine hygiene products over the wall of a loo, in case that's the issue as Kamala's mom is odd about them. They then have a heart to heart about their identity issues and state their love for each other.
    • Nakia saw that Kamran gave Kamala his number, and even though she thinks he's hot, she knows Kamala is gonzo for him and so she grabbed a few things to help Kamala prep for their upcoming date.

    Episode 3: Destined
  • Kamala and her mother share a beautiful moment, with Kamala begging for advice on what to do if you're up against the whole world. Her mother replies by telling her about her own early days in the US, scared and alone... until she found the mosque, her friends, her family. Whatever Kamala is up against, she doesn't have to do it alone.
  • Kamala and Bruno have a heart-to-heart when regarding the Clandestines. He agrees to help her in any way he can if the Djinns just want to return home, but she must make sure it'll be worth giving them the bangle unless they're likely up to something else. Then, when Kamala tries to compare herself to Carol Danvers, Bruno tells her that she's not Danvers; she has to be her own hero and she must do good her own way.
  • A scared Aamir wonders if he's doing the wrong thing, marrying Tyesha when he's so poor. Yusuf replies that he admires his son so much for living a life of courage and honesty in a world that could be so hostile to him.
  • The dance at Aamir and Tyesha's wedding includes Bruno suddenly coming in, performing, and coming off to hug Muneeba. He's so accepted by the family that he's learned the routine and is an unquestionable part of the community while he is wearing his Western suit, him not being asked to disregard his Western heritage.
  • After the fire alarm goes off and the building is evacuated, Tyesha finds herself standing next to another bride who's in tears over her wedding being interrupted. Tyesha consoles her by telling her that she looks pretty in her wedding dress, a compliment the other bride immediately returns.
  • For much of the fight against the Clandestines, Kamala is on the defense, using her power to block and evade their attacks. The moment Bruno is injured by them, she doesn’t hesitate to go on the offense.
  • Kamala is still unsure about being a superhero after accidentally injuring Hameed and bringing Damage Control's attention onto her mosque. Sheikh Abdullah assures her that Hameed is grateful to "Night Light" for saving him and encourages her to keep trying to do good.
  • Kamala asks Bruno to dance, who happily accepts until they are interrupted by Karman.
  • This episode further hints to Bruno having feelings for Kamala.

    Episode 4: Seeing Red
  • Kamala and her mother sharing a reunion with their extended family, who welcomes them with open arms as soon as they arrive in Karachi.
  • At the train station, Kamala sees a mural of Ant-Man on the wall with the message: "You can start small and still be larger than life."
  • Kamala and Kareem quickly warm up to each other following their initial skirmish. Kareem even invites her to hang out with his friends around a bonfire.

    Episode 5: Time and Again
  • In the previous episode, Sana had wistfully told Kamala that she used to draw her parents because she didn't have any photographs of them. After Kamala returns from the past (in which she causes a Stable Time Loop by leaving the 'trail of stars' that led Sana back to her father), she gives to Sana a last gift from her mother Aisha: the only photograph ever taken of baby Sana with her parents.
  • Aisha and Hasan's love story is one of compassion to strangers, building new homes when exiled, and family togetherness. It is beautiful.
  • The cane that Sana is seen using to walk around? It was a gift Aisha gave to Hasan to replace the stick he was using until then.
  • Contrary to the Fantasy-Forbidding Mother light Muneeba has been portrayed in so far, as soon as she discovers that Kamala is in fact a superhero, she is shown to be nothing but proud and is only understandably concerned for her teenaged daughter's well-being.
    • Soon after, Kamala uses her powers in front of her grandmother and mother alike, leaving both to stare after her with genuine awe on their faces.
  • Kamran trying to take refuge with Bruno because he has nowhere else to go. It leads to a few moments of bonding, including Kamran genuinely apologizing to Bruno for thinking his name was "Brian" this whole time.
    • Think of how jealous Bruno has been of Kamran all this time. When Kamran shows up at his house, with Damage Control looking for him, Bruno is solid on helping him. It's like this vibe of, "dude, don't worry about it. We'll figure it out."

    Episode 6: No Normal
  • When Kamala reveals her powers to her family they are all supportive but her father is hesitant about her being a hero. Muneeba though encourages him to go along with because they trust her.
  • Muneeba catches Kamala about to go out looking for Bruno and Kamran and for a second it looks like she's going to stop her daughter from going. Instead, Muneeba tells her she's not going in street clothing and hands her a box containing a brand new superhero suit, a variation of her comic costume, giving her blessing for Kamala to be a hero.
    • What makes this especially heartwarming is the reversal from the first episode. Muneeba found the middle-ground this time, making a costume that both fits with her values and that her daughter would be proud to wear. They have this sweet little moment together instead of the frigid scene before.
  • Kamala gets emotional when she sees Bruno and says she was scared that he had died after his apartment blew up in the previous episode. He pulls her into an adorable hug and it almost seems like they'll never let each other go.
  • Zoe ends up helping Kamala out as payment for when Kamala saved her in the first episode.
Nakia: So you mean to tell me you knew Kamala had powers and you didn't say anything? 'Cause it's not like you.
Zoe: You know, Kamala saved my life at AvengerCon.
    Nakia: [long, uncomfortable pause]
Zoe: I think Kamala should be able to tell the world when she's ready.
    • Also note that Nakia is visibly moved by Zoe's unexpected consideration for Kamala.
    • It's even more heartwarming if you take it as hinting that Zoe is gay like in the comics, which means she empathizes with someone having a secret that they wouldn't want to be forcibly revealed.
  • Kamran's parting words to Bruno: "Thank you, Bruno", making sure he gets his name right this time.
  • Kamala repeatedly saves Damage Control agents from Kamran when he lashes out at them, drawing a line between heroic self-defense and excessive force directed at law enforcement.
  • The entire community rallies to Zoe's video about Damage Control cornering them in the school. They show up outside to protest, with many of them holding out their phones to record what's going on. Once Kamran has escaped the crowd pushes past the barriers and surrounds Kamala to protect her from the agents. She's their hero, and they're not going to let her be arrested. Even the Jersey City police, who had previously been aiding Damage Control, join in shielding Kamala after seeing her save civilians.
  • Yusuf joins Kamala on the roof and tells her why he and her mother chose her name. They'd tried to have a second child for years with no luck until they finally had their daughter. When she was born they chose to name her based on the Urdu word "kamal" which can be translated as "Marvel", and that she will always be their "Ms. Marvel".
  • Despite his skepticism over the Red Daggers, since they and his people are enemies, Kamran decides to trust Kamala and goes to Pakistan to seek refuge, where Kareem welcomes him.
  • Bruno leaves a note in Kamala's locker which likely expresses his love for her.
  • Kamala's response to Kamran when he asks how he's supposed to be normal after everything he's done. It's an answer that truly embodies the spirit of a superhero:
Kamala: There is no normal. There's just us and what we do with what we've been given.
  • Confronted by Nakia about why she didn't share her secret with her, Kamala explains that she was afraid Nakia would hate her once she found out, since she had previously voiced her disapproval of "Night Light". Nakia assures Kamala that she could never hate her.
