Heartwarming / Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol

• We find out at the end that Julia is still alive and well. Though she can never be united with Ethan, at least her death isn't on Ethan's conscience (and no longer on Brandt's) as the audience feels throughout the whole movie. Their brief look across the Seattle pier in the end puts out a final note of heartwarming happiness.
• All Trivia, but the fact that Michael Nyqvist spent the majority of his (as it turned out) one chance to be at the center of international media attention DEFENDING Tom Cruise by honestly describing his scattered meetings with him.
  "Tom Cruise is an amazing actor and generous co-worker whose personal life we, as a society, know far too much about."
